If I'm doing only characters meals during my trip and already decided on :

CRT
Crystal Palace
Liberty Tree tavern
Akhersus
Garden Grill
Tusker House

should I go with dinner at CM of Park Fare for our last day (won't be going to the parks in the day but will have an early dinner and go to MK afterward to see parade & wishes) ???
What do you recommend for dinner ?

p.s: reason I will do only characters meals is I don't care about the food but want my 5 yo DD to live all the magic :wizard:

I would definitely do Chef Mickey's. My kids (7 DD, 5 DD, 4DS) absolutely loved interacting with the characters there last year. The characters came twice to our table and there was a part during dinner where the characters put on a tiny show and tell you to wave your napkins in the air. It's also the one character meal that my kids are demanding we go to on our trip in December.

We also did all three Princess character meals, too. The food was wonderful at Park Fare but the character interaction was not very memorable for dinner (Cinderella, Prince Charming, can't remember who else...). IMHO, I think you've got the Princesses covered with CRT and Akershus.

Hope this helps!

I guess it would depend on which characters you wanted to meet...

Park Fare has Cinderella, the stepsisters, the step mother, and sometimes Prince Charming.

Chef Mickeys has Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Goofy and Donald.

Hope that helps! We love CM, and are doing Park Fare for the first time next month. :)

That's a really good question and I don't think you can go wrong either way. As a PP said, you do have princesses covered, but you also have the classic characters covered too. We did 1900PF recently and it was our favorite character meal. Since you only have a daughter, she might like this:

*I would add that Prince Charming is definitely part of the 1900PF cast, not just sometimes.

We have eaten at both and really liked both! This is a tough choice. I would also go with what PPs said and base it on the characters you think your DD would want to see more. Both resorts are really nice too :)

Hmmm.. I would ditch CP and do both CMs and 1900 Park Fare instead.

We did all three in December and I would rank CMs and 1900 Park Fare on par w/ each other for character interaction and service... and 1900 edges CMs just a bit for food.

BUT... CMs gets extra points for having Mickey so it all evens out in the end!

CP was awful. The food was just okay...but the character interaction and service were both terrible. I know I'm in the minority w/ my opinion...but we won't be going back to CP anytime soon!

StratMan, just by seeing your picture I'll definitely go with PF

I think my daughter would love it to have the prince besides her :cloud9:
Our dining planification is done then.

Thank you all for your input !

My vote goes for 1900 Park Fare. I found everything at Chef Mickey's to be swimming in grease and not too fresh. We arrived for the first breakfast and it was not enjoyable at all.

My vote 1900 , DD5 was all dressed up as cindy and when the prince came over he bowed and danced with her then to top it off he kissed her hand. I got it all on my camera....That is one meal I, or she will never forget.

~ Park Fare since you already have the CM characters in a few others, I would want some new ones as would my DS
~ We did not enjoy CM at all and won't return there, we have Park Fare booked for the fall for breakfast and dinner to get a wide variety of characters
