We have a Chef Mickey Breakfast reservation for 12:25pm (kids love breakfast but also love to sleep in). Breakfast ends at 12:30pm and then picks back up later for Dinner. Will the experience be any different being one of the last reservations (rushed, run out of food)? Trying to see if I should continue to look for an earlier reservation..

It may be slightly less crowded by that time. The character attendants will typically make sure you’ve seen all the characters before they ‘head off to the parks’ or ‘off to the kitchen to make dinner’ so seeing them isn’t usually an issue. Typically the restaurant clears out around 1:15 so whether you feel rushed depends on how fast you eat and whether being one of the few tables left bothers you or not.
Hopefully that helps! I would aim for an earlier spot if possible, but the 12:25 isn’t terrible.

Following up on the original question - does the food stay plentiful/fresh for the later ADRs? We have a 12:15 and honestly, there for the food as much as/more than the characters. We don't want to spend $$$ if it will be slim pickings.

I've not eaten at Chef Mickey's in quite a while, but we've done very late seatings at Boma for Breakfast and Dinner frequently, and we've never encountered any items running out. I'm actually always surprised how fresh everything is.

My parents and niece had a 12:25 reservation at CM a few days ago. I just asked mom and she said they were still bringing out new trays of food and making fresh pancakes throughout their time there.

I also had a very late reservation at Boma breakfast last week and my experience was similar.

We have done the breakfast for lunch strategy many times. In our experience, CM is often crowded and running behind. I would keep the time. We have always had fresh food.
