Hi, My family has a reservation on our Epcot day to Chef Mickeys. I need all advice on the best way to get there and how much time should we allow. Our reservation time is for 11:55 am.

leave at least 1 hour, maybe 1 1/2 hours - so start moving by 10:45 AM
Take the monorail from EPCOT to the TTC - about a 15 - 20 minute nice ride though WDW
Then take the resort (CR,POLY,TTC, GF,MK) monorail to the CR (about 20 minutes)
Once on the resort monorail from the TTC, you will first stop at the GF, then MK and then you will arrive at the CR - can not miss it, the monorail goes right into the CR

If you arrive early - still check in at the podium at Chef Mickeys, you may be in early - and then you can get our the stores at the CR - all on the same floor at Chef Mickeys

There are no other plausible ways to get there. Any other routes are less direct and add time for no reason.

Well, there's leaving Epcot through the International Gateway, walking to the Beach Club (or Friendship Boat to the Board walk, if it's there), then bus to MK and walk to the Contemporary - but with an 11:55 ADR, they won't have made it close to World Showcase.

Monorail is CR-TTC-Poly-GF-MK so first stop after TTC is Poly then GF.

You could, and I apologize for sounding negative in my previous post.

I've just been seeing some "how to avoid the monorail" threads lately. And yes the monorail can have its problems sometimes, but it's usually about as efficient as public transportation gets. The monorail resorts are designed for you to... ride the monorail :) Chef Mickey's is one floor beneath the station!

After taking the Epcot monorail to the TTC, I would consider taking the Express Monorail to MK and then the 10 minute walk to CR.
