Chef Mickey's for dinner?

Is the food quality good for dinner? We loved breakfast there and thought it'd be nice for the kids to see mickey on the last night of our holiday.

While I often hear you don't go here for the food, we have been impressed by the food. It's certainly not gourmet, but for a buffet, there is a wide variety and everything we have tried has been good to excellent.

Personally I enjoy the salad bar, rolls, prime rib, parmesean potatoes, Mickey raviolis, and some of the specialty items of the day. In my 2 dinner visits I haven't really had room for dessert, but have treid to have at least a small sundae.

Our family loves Chef Mickey's for dinner. The food is standard buffet, but I have always gotten great prime rib and the parmesan mashed potatoes. They used to have this chocolate mousse cake for dessert, but last year they did not have it.

My kids have already asked when we are going on this trip and were mad that we saved it for the last night. We have ADRs and then we have the Pirate and Princess Party after.

We found it rather good...however, I think that they use too much rosemary in some of their dishes. I just steer clear of those though....fun (and yummy) desserts by-the-way!

Prime Rib melts in your mouth, the parmesan/garlic mashed potatoes and they did have the chocolate mouse cake when I was there in July but I had no room for it ...any wonder I will be Winnie the Pooh for the MNSSHP ?

Our dinner there was not great, the only thing we ate that was good was the prime rib and the mashed potatoes. Everything else was blech! Hard rolls, no butter, wilted salad, lukewarm overly salted soup, even the kids would not eat the too much sauce pizza and raviolis and the hard chicken fingers.

The character interaction here was great though, I would consider breakfast here but never again for dinner
