We've done breakfast at CM before, but never dinner. Should we switch it up and have dinner this trip? Or is it better to stick with breakfast? TIA!:goodvibes

We did both last year and thought the dinner was better than the breakfast. There's only so many ways to dress up breakfast foods, y'know. If we had to do it over again, we'd just do the dinner.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, rocks the Mouse for both meals.

Glad you asked this question. We are booked for dinner. I am trying though to get it a bit earlier, as it is 9:15 right now........

Interesting..... We have always had dinner at CM. This trip I decided to try breakfast.

Honestly, we go for the characters and for the sake of tradition and I'm not sure that it matters what we eat. At least breakfast is cheaper. (We will be doing the QSDP with only 3 or 4 TS - OOP).

If you choose dinner, be sure to try the oreos with the mousse and choc. mickey ears on top. DS loves those and they are the one thing we will miss by choosing breakfast over dinner!!!!!

We have done dinner at CM's twice and both times were very good. There was a good variety of foods and character interaction was wonderful!:thumbsup2

When in doubt I go with breakfast....it's pretty tough to screw up bacon and eggs.

Although the characters and our server were great, Chef Mickey's dinner last May was by far the worst meal we have ever had at WDW. The salads and desserts were good though (except for the soft serve ice cream which was liquid). The restaurant was so dirty, that my DH made a comment about whether we were really going to eat there, and we aren't that picky about stuff like that. We were there pretty early in the dinner service too, so it isn't like it had gotten dirty over the course of the night. I'd say stick to breakfast.

We love Chef Mickey's. We've only done dinner once, though. Breakfast is our choice. However, if you've never done dinner, I don't see the harm in trying it. We enjoyed it. We just prefer the breakfast. If you do dinner this time, you'll know what to do next time! I'm assuming you are like us...there WILL be a next time??

For us, dinner at CM was nothing special. The food was average and service was passable. It was REALLY loud. It probably was worse because we waited 30 minute past our reservation time.
