I feel like I've just been berating this board with questions lately, but I really do appreciate the help!

One last question: Is breakfast at Chef Mickey's still an enjoyable experience for adults? I know it's an ultra-popular place for kids, so of course I'm expecting loudness, craziness, and all of that other good stuff - but it's just going to be my boyfriend and I (both 23), and I'm hoping it'll still be fun for adults. Have any other couples gone alone? I absolutely love Disney and have great memories of Chef Mickey's from when I was a kid, so I'm sure I'll have an amazing time nonetheless - I'd just like to hear about any other experiences you guys have had there!

Thanks (again) in advance!

I hope it's fun for adults. We're going in September and we're in our 50's. Our DD is 24.

We have eaten at CM three times, twice just ourselves two adults in their 50s and once with my sister and her children.

The food was nothing to write home about, rather bland and there was absolutely NO CONTACT for us with any character when we were there by ourselves. They simply passed us by as we did not have children at the table and it was the same for all childless tables we noticed.

When we ate there with my sister and family and we had 3 children under the age of 10 we got a lot of attention and wonderful pictures.

All of these were dinner experiences in both high season and value season and there was no differnce with adults being ignored we noticed. We will not return, it is off our list as anywhere we care to eat.

I recommend Crystal Palace as they are highly attentive to all tables at all meals no matter who is sitting there. Liberty Tree Tavern used to have the best character interaction with adults I have ever seen, but sadily they no longer have any characters there any longer.

Chef Mickey's can be a good experience for adults. If you show interest is in the characters they will respond to you and you'll get some great pictures. It's also fun to watch the children react to the characters.

DH and I went on our honeymoon a couple weeks ago. We joke that Mickey dissed us. He patted DH on the back and kept on walking.

We're big into the characters and the rest of the characters were awesome, but I don't think we'll be returning to Chef Mickey's. We did Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare and liked both better (character interaction and food).

We've not been since 2004 when oldest DS graduated high school. So he was 18 and his girlfriend was 17 and I was 48 and DH was 53. We had plenty of character interaction and had a great time. However, I must say we much prefer Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends (the food is better in our opinion) and Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club (we did both this past September with our best friends--all of over 50+ and we had a lot of character interaction and great food).
