In planning for our December '09 trip, I thought it might be fun to go to Chef Mickey's one morning for breakfast. It will be a group of 4-6 adults (not sure if DH's parents would want to join), with no children. This would be DH's and my first character meal, and we thought it would be something different and fun. Would we look completely out of place?? :confused3

You won't be out of place at all. There are always adults only, so crowds where there may one by one child, but 3 or 4 adults.

who cares? I've never been and I am looking forward to it this trip (2 40somethings and 2 70 somethings)

Chef Mickey's Breakfast is one of our top picks for character interaction and good food.:lovestruc I have seen plenty of adults-only tables so there should be no reason why you should feel out of place.

Thanks for all the quick replies! Sounds like we'll be hitting up CM one morning on our trip. :-)

My fiancee and I are hitting it up the day after she runs the Half Marathon in January...I don't see a problem with it at all.

Just remember...growing older is mandatory, growing up is completely optional!

We are adults and did not feel out of place. It really is a must do.

Enjoy!

We have a reservation at Chef Mickeys. There are 6 of us and all adults. Youngest 19. I love it there I can't wait.

Chef Mickey's used to be the place we would take all of our out of town guests, and the way we started every disney vacation. The food was good, the character interaction was great. Now, and yes, we have been there recently. The food is so disgusting, even our one year old grandson wouldn't eat it. We ended up paying for this horrible buffet and grabbing quick bites in the park because the food was so disgusting.

If you want good breakfast food go to Boma at AKL.

If you want good food and characters, head over to the Swan resort on Saturday or Sunday and have their buffet. Excellent food, excellent character interaction and no reservations required.

We were a bit hesitant about doing Chef Mickeys for just the two of us (before DS) and we had a fantastic time.

My DH and I went alone and loved it! Hoping to take DS back with us this year if we can get an ADR
