Chef Mickey's Dinner or Breakfast?

I am planning a spring 2010 trip (not sure of exact date yet) but I know that I will arriving on a Thurs. afternoon around noon. I will be purchasing a 7 day park hopper but will not know for sure if we will hit a park that day or not until we arrive. It is my 5 year old daughters first trip. Should I make a dinner res. for Chef Mickeys on arrival night to get her in the Disney spirit or just wait until morning and go to breakfast at Chef Mickeys before hitting Magic Kingdom?

I've done both and think the food is better at breakfast. Character interaction is great at both. The other nice thing about breakfast is that if that's the only table service meal you're doing that day, you don't have to plan the rest of your day around your dining reservations.

I've never done breakfast, but I've done Chef Mickeys dinner many times and a wholeheartedly reccommend it!! The food is actually very good, and the characters are wonderful.

I have done both, and even though I like both, I do prefer breakfast. This year though we are trying the dinner.

Personal opinion, but I think the atmosphere at Chef Mickey's is better for breakfast. There are many other restaurants I prefer to visit for dinner.

IMO, for the value, I would do Chef Mickey for dinner, not breakfast. I preferred the Tusker House breakfast over CM's, as far as food goes. Character intereaction is terrific at dinner and breakfast @ CM.

Dinner! The prime rib and mashed potatoes are DELISH!!!

Had breakfast at CM last week & it was absolutely awful.

If you want to dine here, I would have to say try dinner.
