If you had to pick, would you choose breakfast or dinner? Do they serve lunch as well? This is a character meal, right? After watching Food Networks Disney Unwrapped, we decided we have got to try this place!!

This is my DD favorite!!!!!! We have done both breakfast and dinner, (I don't know if they do lunch). Since both options are good, we make this our last ressie and see what time slot we have left.

Enjoy

IMHO Chef Mickey's for dinner is one of the best character meals as far as value for your money. We are not big breakfast eaters so we tend not to do the breakfast character meals.

We have eaten at Chef Mickey's for dinner at least 5 times and LOVE IT!! They have a special "kid's bar" with pizza, hotdog bites, mac-n-cheese, french fries,etc... as well as a huge selection of adult buffet favorites including peel 'n eat cold boiled shrimp. The desert selection is very large and there is a special desert for kids--Goofy will help them decorate their own cupcake(great photo op!).

At set intervals throughout the evening the waiters get the party going by singing and waving their napkins(everyone is invited to join in) and then the characters come around for autographs and photo ops.

The food is good and great for families with large appetites (my 14 year old nephews will eat their weight at the buffet this October!!). Also I have never felt "rushed out" here as I have at other character meals.

I have never had dinner there but I can say from personal experience that the breakfast is FABULOUS!!!! It's our second favorite meal at WDW (a very close second to CP breakfast). The food is great, atmosphere is fun and the character interaction is very, very good!!! We go at least twice during our trip. We actually will be trying the dinner this time around.

We're doing Chef Mickey's for dinner on this trip! Haven't been before for either breakfast or dinner. Since we get in late on our first day, we're skipping the parks, hitting the pool and DTD and doing Chef Mickey's for dinner.

From MyFairyGodmother's post, sounds like we made a good decision!

Daxx, great idea. My family did this our last trip, Chef Mickey's will surely put you in the Disney mood your 1st night! It's the best. We're going back in 3 weeks and my kids HAVE to go to Chef Mickey's! Have a great time!
