Chef Mickeys ... Breakfast or dinner??

DH and I have been to Chef Mickey's breakfast .. back in 2003. My kids love Mickey and I am thinking I want to hit up this restaurant with them (plus then we can ride the monorail)

How does the dinner stack upto the breakfast? If you have done both .. which would you prefer???

While the character interaction was awesome our dinner at CM was terrible, the food was just awful....we are going to give breakfast a go next month

My family and I have had dinner there a few times and found nothing wrong with the food.

I've done both and for us the character interaction and the food was way better at breakfast. I absolutely hated dinner and likely will never go back for a dinner meal. Breakfast I will do no problem because the food not only tasted good, it was hot. For dinner I thought the food was a little bland and just warm, not hot. The character interaction was also way worse at dinner than breakfast for us. It took forever for them to come around.

While the food at CM's isn't spectacular, its certainly acceptable. You're pretty much guaranteed to find something you like on the buffet. Considering the real reason you are going is for the characters, the food is of secondary importance.

However, I would agree that if food was your primary interest that maybe you should go elsewhere.

The did Breakfast there and are planning on doing it again on the next trip... food was fine not much different from the other breakfast buffets we went too... Characters were great... I great place to be able to meet the orginal disney characters ad get some pictures

Neither - breakast and dinner are equally bad.
