We are definitely doing the Crystal Palace breakfast (as I love their cinnamon french toast!! - I hope its still there as haven't been there for 9 years!!)

So would you do the Chef Mickey breakfast aswell, or swap it for the character dinner???

The cinnamon french toast was still there in October and I'm pretty sure its still there:goodvibes I would do Chef Mickeys dinner to give yourself a contrast, and also you don't have to give up any morning touring to fit around a breakfast, this is the best time to go on rides. I quite liked the dinner too:thumbsup2

The cinnamon french toast had better still be there as I've booked an ADR for brekkie in August just so I can have some :rotfl:

I'm not a great fan of buffet lunches or dinners (just breakfast) so I would vote for that. However, I have heard that the dinner is pretty good at CMs.

We went to 4 Character Breakfasts whilst there in Feb and Cinnamon French Toast was available at all 4. Also it was available at POP.

Dinner at chef Mickey is great fun , never tried the breakfast

and book breakfast before park opening if you can , then you get in to the park before everyone else
its lovely walking up main street
we love Ohanana for breakfast

I think these buffets are great value for money
and a great way to see all your favourite characters

Hi bumping on this one.We have booked to do both the dinner and breakfast at chef Mickeys so interested to peoples views. It is my DD5 birthday for the dinner which I am going to arrange a birthday cake to be delivered.:cheer2: :dance3: popcorn::

Joanne, the french toast at Crystal Palace is quite unique and I've never seen it available anywhere else. It's actually called puffed french toast with cinnaomon sugar and it's actually more like a doughnut than french toast. Is that the kind of thing you mean? If so, I'd be interested to know where else it's available please :)

Oh no, sorry Joh. I'm talking about just "normal" French Toast with Cinnamon, I didn't see any that looked like doughnuts.

My DD Amber was really disappointed as she loves French Toast and I'd been saying that she would be able to have it for breakfast on holiday. However, she discovered she doesn't like cinnamon so wouldn't eat it! If there is anywhere where you can get non-cinnamon flavoured French Toast at WDW I'd be interested to know for next time.:goodvibes

Kona Cafe at the Poly have non-cinnamon flavoured french toast. Aslo, I seem to remember when we went to breakfast at 1900 Park Faire the french toast there was plain. Although that was 3 years ago now so not sure if that's changed.

We went to 1900 Park Fair in Feb and it was cinammon!

Talking about 1900 Park Fare - I remember the evening buffet being particularly good there - but we will have two boys who would sooner see Mickey et al than the princesses!!! - Would you say the evening meal at Chef Mickeys compares to 1900 Park Fare?????

We've done both Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fayre for both Breakfast and Dinner and would recommend all four meals :rotfl:

The food available at both places is very similar. There does appear to be more choice at Chef Mickey's, but I think this is because there are two separate serving areas with the same choices.

We have breakfast booked as it seemed more suitable for bf (veggie) than dinner but i'm sure i'll do dinner in the future.

We always have breakfast at Chef Mickey's if we get the chance:thumbsup2 its a wonderful start to the day... and fantastic for anyone celebrating a birthday or an anniversary, the food is tasty and filling and always fresh, the character interaction has always been great there too:cloud9:
If we go back after this trip we may have to see if we can get dinner ressies to find out how it compares.

We have a breakfast booked at Chef Mickeys as well :)

Had originally booked it for early morning, but had to phone back to change the date as I had messed up with the original booking, and decided I would follow a bit of advice I seen about CM breakfasts. So, instead, I booked our breakfast for 11:15am. We'll have a light breakfast in the room (im not a big morning eater anyway) then have an early lunch when we get our breakfast at CMs. Also, I heard because you are among the last families, you get alot more interaction with the characters :thumbsup2
