We are planning to go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our first morning at disney we are staying onsite at POP, i was wondering what time we should make our ADR for?

we plan on going to a park afterwards, and i don't want to lose too much of the day at the park. but i don't want to have to get up early. what time do you guys reccomend?

were a party of mum and dad then 2 older teens (boy and girl), we have problems thou we can never get the boys from our group to get up!!!

What time are you flying in the day before? I see you're from England so jet lag will more than likely be a factor. Another thing to consider is when are you going to Disney. Parks open at vastly different times depending on the season. (7am during the very busy times with EMH's and as late as 9am during regular times). Something else to take into account is how are you getting there. Buses take up to an hour to get from point A to point B, especially resort to resort. Rental cars are much faster.

That all being said - We made our ADR's for CM at the crack of dawn (7:00 or 7:30) We made it to the MK (walking) by 8:30 and caught the tail end of the LOEMH that was that day.

I am not sure my scenario would work for you - especially if you're using Disney transportation. You'd have to be on a bus by 6:30.

yeah we got a car, we land i think 5pm on the sunday, then its the 1st morning i want the breakfast for so the monday, we fly out early august

Ok, so landing at 5pm eastern time is probably more like 10pm your time. You'll land at 5pm, get your car and luggage by about 6pm and should be to your resort by about 6:30-7:00. You'll probably want to grab a bite to eat, check in and settle in and you could be in bed by 9pm (2am your time).

If you slept until 6am you'd get about 9 hours of sleep. I'd think you could make a 7:30 or 8:00 reservation your first day. The parks open at 9am in early August, so you'd have little problem making it to MK at or shortly after opening.

Hopefully you'll get a little sleep on the plane.

i think maybe 8ish for us then, if we can get the boys out of bed!!!

thank you for your help
