Hey peeps - which would you recommend? I've done the breakfast before and enjoyed it - do you think it's worth trying for Dinner and maybe try out Ohana's for b'fast instead???
Yes, 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter and I think Pooh. The food gets pretty good reviews too. The character dinner there has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the step sisters.
O'Hana for breakfast was very fun...food was good, typical WDW breakfast food. Dinner at CM was good. 1900 PF dinner was a blast! The food was good but the interaction between LT and the SS made it!!!
OK. I guess I'm going to be the first one that says that I absolutely hated Chef Mickey's for dinner. Breakfast there was awesome, but I so did not like the dinner. Maybe I was having an off day but for what I spent for 2 adults and 1 child to eat (about $100 including gratuity) I could've had a way better dinner somewhere else.
I love O'Hana for breakfast and on our next trip I plan on doing it for dinner. Also on our to do list is 1900 Park Fare for dinner. My son loves Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters. He loves the villains (guess that's the boy in him - loves the bad guys).
We ate at Chef Mickey's for dinner in September and it was our favorite character meal and I think my kids ate more there than any other place, lots of good food for picky eaters (besides just chicken nuggets and mac and cheese).
Ok, I have to be honest. We did CM's for dinner back in 2004 and it was awful. The food had been sitting awhile, it was never replenished, we were rushed and this is after waiting 20 minutes to check in at the podium and waiting 30 minutes longer to be seated. It was also Christmas week. So we are giving CM's another chance in about 15 days before we totally rule it out. I have read mixed reviews. Some love it, others are disappointed. What I can say is the character interaction is great if you have character loving kids!
We are also doing Ohanas for both breakfast and dinner. We always do Ohanas for dinner every trip! Its that good and the kids love the atmosphere. I love the sides and the dessert My oldest DS loves the shrimp. My DH loves the meats.
Our favorite breakfast, so far, is Crystal Palace in MK. We do this every trip, too. Except this trip we are giving CP's dinner a chance.
You really should give whatever TS you think you might like a try and not rely on all of our opions too much!!! We'd all starve if we read and followed all the negative dont eat here posts! LOL
We loved 1900 Park Fare. The food was good to excellent. The Stepsisters were great. My only downside was that I wish there were more choices for the kids. My kids are a little picky. My ds ate pizza and a roll. We really enjoyed it though.
