Posted this earlier and got no responses!:rotfl2: So let me rephrase it. 2 questions-- 1. We have a dinner res for 9pm for chef mickeys, what im wondering is will the food be ok? We're mainly going for the character experience but I don't want to get totally crappy food since from what I understand they close at 9:30. I have tried to get an earlier one and no luck. 2nd question- if I luck out and get an 8 or even 8:30 will I make it from HS on a day they close at 7 and have Fantasmic @6:30 which we plan to attend?

thanx

You should experience the same food quality as everyone else during that service.

I wouldn't expect them to run out of things and not replace them, as you won't be the only ones in the restaurant.

As for your other question, no you would not have time to get from DHS in time for an 8pm seating and would most likely be late to the 8:30 one....and at that time of night they would most likely not seat you for being late.

Stick with the later one you should be fine.

1. We actually prefer to go later because it isn't quite as busy, the food is always fine, and we get better character interaction. At least that has been our experience. :thumbsup2

2. If you can get an 8:30 you should be fine but I think you would be pushing your luck with an 8. Fantasmic is 23 mins long and takes another 15 or so to actually to get out of the park afterward, then waiting on your bus can be lengthy. :sad2: It always takes us at least an hour to get back to our hotel after Fantasmic and sometimes it has been longer.

I think your best bet is to keep the 9 ressie and if you get there a little early you can go ahead and check in. That won't guarantee you will be seated earlier but your chances are good! :goodvibes
