We have an ADR for CM at 7pm. Wondering if MNSSHP could be done in the same night without feeling rushed? What do you think? Not sure if this is the best place for this question?

Thanks!
Kate

It can be done but you'd miss at least one hour of the party, probably more like 1 1/2 hours. So you'd probably get there around 8:30p right when the first parade starts...

You could still see the fireworks and 2nd parade though.

So it can be done and you'd miss a bit of the party but its up to you. I personally wouldn't do it cause I wouldn't want to miss any of the party.

I usually eat around 5:00p - 5:30p in MK.

Have fun planning!

I'm trying to change my ADR, but so far am having no luck. If we don't get there until 8:30ish, in your opinion, do you think we'd be disappointed in what we missed?

Not really. If I had the choice of not going at all or missing an hour and 1/2, I'd choose going.

I'd enjoy the Hallowishes fireworks at 9:15p , look for some characters dressed in their costumes, and then enjoy the second parade and maybe try and fit in some rides here and there as well.

Entering at 8:30p, you only miss the first parade and maybe the opportunity to do some rides.

If your reservations are not till 7:00, you might not get seated till 7:15 or later. Dinner will be at least 1 to 1.5 hours and it will take a while to get to MK, you probably will not get to the MK until 9:00 or later. With your party ticket you can get into the MK at 4:00. At 6:00 when they close the park to regular guests they will probably send all the party goes into Tomorrowland. This is a great time to do some rides and get into party mode. It is great just walking around checking out all the other party guests in their costumes. The first parade is at 8:00 and if you want to see the Headless Horseman - I believe he only rides before the first parade.

The Headless Horseman rides for BOTH parades. I always see the second parade and have always seen the Headless Horseman.

OP, if you do keep this ADR, be sure and get to CM early so that you can be seated on time.

MY biggest hope is that I can change my ADR. I just purchased the tickets (hate to be there during it and not go!) Might try and change some ADRs around to work in CM on another night...

Found this on All Ears Net website for last years party. Thought it might give you an idea as to what time and what things happen. I don't remember about the Headless Horseman when we went in 2003 as we watched the first parade.

We had a 5:40 ADR last year before MNSSHP at the Concourse and we had to rush to get to the party a little after 7 when it opened. This year I decided a better idea was to have a TS lunch at Le Cellier and then get some CS at DTD when my DD is getting her hair and makeup done for the party. My DD is only 4 so I want her to spend as much time as possible at the party before she is so tired that she wants to go back for bed.
