Chef Mickey's at 7:30 AM?

We have reservations for Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on my DS's birthday. We are staying at the Poly. Does the monorail run this early? How much time should I anticipate to get there? If the monorail doesn't run, what mode of transportation would be the fastest? I don't want to take our car since we will be going directly to MK from Chef Mickey's. Any help would be appreciated.

The resort monorail should be running - ask when you check in to be absolutely sure.

If it isn't, my advice is to just take a cab. Doubt you will have to, though.

We had ps's the same time, same place last month. We also stayed at the Polynesian! We, I think, were on the first monorail out, at about 7:05. We got to sit in the front too!! We were early for our ps but they seated us anyway. Have a ball.

The Resort Monorail begins service around 7:00am. However, at this early time, they might still be doing morning safety checks, so delays might happen. However, you should still have PLENTY of time to get to Chef Mickeys. Be out on the platform no later than 7:15am for a 7:30 PS.

Thanks, Tyler! I knew someone would answer my question. Now how do I get the conductor to let my DS ride up front for his birthday? Any suggestions on that one?

Just ask the Monorail Host/Hostess at the station. It's not guaranteed, and we can only seat four people up there (that includes toddlers and infants)

Thanks again, Tyler! I would love it if just my DH and my DS could go up there. I know that my DS would love it! I am hoping that since we are on the early monorail we will get our chance.
