So...

Do ADR's ever open up?

I booked Ohana as a back-up, but the food doesn't sound as good.

When should I call again? They have nothing for my day @ Chef Mickey's.

There is always a possibilty something could open up.

We have been to CM's lately, and while it used to be good, the food was disgusting. 5 adults at the table and we pretty much ate nothing.

CM's used to be the place to go, they really need to go some to get it back to that great breakfast place.

If you want to be at Contemporary for breakfast, why not check out the new Wave restaurant..I think they are serving breakfast.

If you want CM's keep trying. We had breakfast there last summer and the food was far from disgusting. We had a late seating with plenty of fresh food. I ate well there and didn't have another meal until a shared CS after Spetromagic in MK that night.

Just as you've booked 'Ohana, some may have booked CM's as a back up or have plans change and those ressies open up.

Good luck, it is a very popular place and we absolutely loved it. I hope to try dinner on our next trip.

When we went to WDW In 2006, I forgot to reserve my Chef Mickey's breakfast.. I remembered about a week prior. I called every day to see if anything opened up.... nothing.

We arrived at the hotel, spoke to the CM nothing... They just told me to keep trying the dining phone number. After a couple of days i was in tears, so, my DH called and we magically got in. I am not sure if the CM could hear me freaking in the background.. but we were in and had a blast. We enjoyed Chef Mickey's for breakfast (in 2001) however did not care for the dinner in 2006.

We also went to Ohana for breakfast on our last day in 2006 and had a great time. (We are going again this trip 2008 on our last day)

My advice for you - Keep calling - someone will cancel their trip and/or their reservation - try to have someone else call for you... :tinker:Good Luck. Hope you get in.
