Is Chef Mickey's one of those meals where it's necessary to call for your ADR no less than 90 days before your desired date?

For that matter, can I make an ADR for any point in my stay starting on 90 days from day 1? In other words, if we're arriving on 12/4, the 90-day point would be 9/6. Can I make a reservation for 12/8 on 9/6 as well, or do I need to wait 4 days? Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Chad

Yes an ADR is a must for Chef Mickey's. If your are staying on property you can make an ADR for 90+10 meaning 90 from your check in date and an extra 10 days beyond that. Have fun!

Most reservations are reservations necessary especially since you are going during Free Dining.Free dining books restaurants SOLID and they do not take walk ups at most popular places including character meals.Chef Mickeys is extremely popular. Now if you are staying at a Disney resort you can call at your 90 day mark and book up to 10 days of your vacations ressies. If you are not staying on site, you would have to call 90 days from the date you want to dine and then call each day to make reservations for everyday of your trip./

Your 90 day mark is Sep 5, not Sep 6. I know this because I'm arriving on Dec 5 and Sep 6 is my 90 day mark. Just wanted to let you know so that you can call or go online the first day you're able to. :)

Definitely call if you want Chef Mickey reservations. I called on my 90 day mark, and I couldn't get reservations for CM on the nights for supper that I wanted Of course, we are there during the free dining so I am sure that counts for something there. However, we were able to book 1900 Park Fare that night so our boys will still enjoy a fun meal.

If there is one thing I learned here on the DIS is ..........................

YES!!!

ADR for CM's is a MUST and at the 90 day mark............................

When I called on my 90 day window(online ADR's on running yet) it was the
3rd placed I asked for and got an ADR. I have looked to see if I could find other times and NOTHING!!! I was able to adjust my Le Cellier ADR 2 other times and CM has no nothing avail.....................I am begining to think CM's is a harder ADR to get then even Le Cellier...............:confused3

Thanks! It sounds like online ADRs start at 6AM, so I'm going to have to set my alarm that Saturday. So much science involved...

We booked at 90 days plus 3 days into our reservation and could only get a 7:45 p.m. reservation at Chef Mickeys! It's popular and fills up fast.

our vacation dates about 60 days out. I tried to move our departure day back one day then two and could not get a breakfast time at all.

DH and I just took a last minute vacation last week to visit my sister on the Gulf coast of Florida and since we were going to be driving near Orlando we decided to stop just for the day. I used the online ADR system just to see if there was a snowball's chance in you-know-where of eating at Chef Mickey's and was able to get a 9:45 breakfast reservation 6 days in advance of our trip. I'm sure it was just plain luck or maybe some fairy dust ws sprinkled our way :wizard:. There were a few ADR's available for dinner and one other available for breakfast- super early, maybe 7:45am? Anyway, you are better off trying to make your ADR's at the 90 day mark instead of waiting so you can get the times you need.
