If I have a reservation for 7:45 am for breakfast, would I be able to get to MK for Rope Drop? I have no idea how long it takes for Caracter breakfast
BTW is Chef Mickey any good as I would have to drop a 9:15 ressie at Crystal Palace in order to do Chef Mickey

You could make rope drop (by the skin of your teeth):
- If you are seated on time (7:45)
- If the MK opens at 9 that day
- If the characters don't get delayed with big groups of autograph wanters, or all-possible-combinations-of-adults-and-or-children-in-the-party photo takers... etc
- If everybody does bathroom/handwashing while you wait for the server to finish running your card to pay the check (so you can jump and run once the check thing is finished)
- If you plan to walk at a brisk pace from the Contemporary to the MK gates

It's usually a good rule of thumb to allow at least an hour after being seated at a character meal, to see all of the characters in rotation. This does vary depending on how packed the place is at the time, but Chef Mickey's is never un-packed.

Personally, though, I would do CP instead - I just like that one so much better than Chef Mickey :goodvibes
Plus, you're already in the park (after rope drop) so it wouldn't be as stressful if rope drop is very important to you.

The chef mickeys character breakfast lasts as long as you want it to. Once seated, you can start eating (buffett) and leave when you want. The characters usually start coming out around 8-815.

We have a 7:05 reservation. The characters won't come out until the end of our meal? What a bummer.

We've had early ADRS - 7ish and I don't remember waiting for an hour for characters. They were there as soon as we were seated. Don't worry about this.

Characters do start making rounds when the restaurant opens, but they take breaks and then start a second round.

I've found that it takes about 45 minutes to see everyone and up to an hour if that break is in there when you sitting.

As people said it could be close. It depends on sitting immediatly, getting through the characters and on your way out of CM smoothly. Then I'd make the walk to MK for rope drop because the monorail may have a big line.

Thanks for the info. I'm still debatting it since I have a Tusker house another day and honnestly it's the same caracters except for daisy from what I read. Maybe I'll drop the Chef Mickey and do the Tusker House the other day and do .
