I have same day ADRs for chef mickeys and Tusker house..... Opinions on which to keep and which to drop. They look like the same toons to me .... Tusker is lunch Mickey is dinner if it matters :confused3

Tusker House has awesome food, Chef Mickey is much more typical. We love both, but the Mickey friends are dressed in Safari outfits and do musical parade with the kids!

2 Character meals in one day might be overload for both you and your kids, maybe you can move the Chef Mickeys to a different night.

Not planning on doing both .... No need for two Mickey meals. Just trying to figure out which is the better experience.

We used to go to Chef Mickey's every trip until we discovered Tusker House. I dreaded the annual Chef Mickey dinner (chaotic environment, not-so-great food), but I really look forward to Tusker House. The food is really good there and the character interaction is great too. Far less chaos! The kids prefer Tusker as well (DD11 & DS5)

TUsker House Breakfast is one of my favourite meals on site.
I would pick that over Chef Mickey (which was very ordinary and chaotic) EVERY time

I have never been to either, however after doing researching and talking to people I dropped CM. I heard it was dirty, loud, and just so so food.

TH for us is in the morning (pre park opening) so it will be nice to get there and take a cruise on the safari before heading to the rest of the park.

I am going with big kids, so lots of characters isn't needed but I figured between TH & CP it will add just enough magic.

Just said this in another thread:

As for your dilemma, I'd personally go with Tusker House. You are losing Minnie, but gaining Daisy who is amazing at interaction with kids and she leads them all in a conga line type dance. She was awesome, and the food is far better at TH. The character interaction at CM was a bit rushed when it came to Minnie, Mickey and Donald, IMO. Goofy and Pluto were good though.

Tusker was our favorite character meal aside from CRT. It's really enjoyable and the food is good.
