Chef Mickey Reservation!!

Today is my 90 days mark and when I ask for a dinner reservation for Chef Mickey is was completely full. The CM told me that this happens usually because not all tables are release at the same time. She also said that there must be somothing wrong with the system today because she could not find any reservation for Chef Mickey or Ohanas not even for two people at any time during dinner. I would try again tomorrow and see if I have luck

Umm not to freak you out but Cinderella Royal Table and Chef Mickey are the only 2 places that take 6 month ressies still. I found that out last month when I called at my 90 window mark, in the new system too. I was lucky enough to find ONE crappy slot the ENTIRE week we are there.

was 6 months for people checking in until June 16,

if your trip is after June 16, everything is 90 days !

As the poster above said, NOT TRUE!

They are not taking 180 day reservations for CRT or Chef Mickey's, so don't panic. They are 90 days, just like all the rest of the restaurants.

When WDW switched the windows to 90 days back in the ?December time frame, they left CRT, Chef Mickey's & V&A's with longer windows. Not sure if it was exactly 180 days back then or not - but it was reservations through a particular date in mid-June - June 16 or 19 - can't remember. At 90 days out from that June day (so around mid-March, I guess), those restaurants effectively became 90 day reservation restaurants as well.

So all things except for Cirque and Grand Gatherings events are 90 days now.

Chef Mickey and CRT are 90 days know as the rest of the restaurants. Don't worry you will be fine. I hope to get one reservation for Chef Mickey before our trip if not I will do any other character meal. The CM told me that they had CR for dinner that they. So you'll be fine calling at your 90 days markdown. Hope you get everything!!

Your information is incorrect. I tried to call in April for our June trip and I had to wait for the 90 day period...well unless they changed it again!
I was also told to try and book the meals that you really want...the harder ones to get more towards the end of your trip and you should be fine. We could only get Chef Mickey's on our very last day. I was able to get CRT on our second day though with no problems. I'm going to wait until my 45 day mark and see if there were any cancellations and maybe some openings?
Has anyone ever had any luck trying to make changes around the 45 day mark?

Did you attempt a dinner reservation for 8/2?

I called last week for my ADRs and Chef Mickey was booked for dinner for that day. I thought it was strange, but I had no problem getting a dinner reservation for the day before. Another thread has been started recently about this. It seems no one has been able to get reservations for this day.

I called on Sunday and got a reservation no problem for Chef Mickey's on Thursday, August 6th, for 6:30 p.m. dinner!

I hope you can find something that works for you!

Don't give up! You never know when someone might cancel. I just got a Chef Mickey's ADR yesterday! It's for 7 people @ 5pm on 5/30!!!! The CM couldn't believe it either! I had called a couple of times before & there was nothing available. Yesterday, there were 3 openings for my dates! You just never know!

I called last week for my ADRs and Chef Mickey was booked for dinner for that day. I thought it was strange, but I had no problem getting a dinner reservation for the day before. Another thread has been started recently about this. It seems no one has been able to get reservations for this day.

I going to call again tomorrow to ask for another day. The CM told me that it was strange because she couldn't even find a table for two. It seems that there is a problem for that day because Ohanas was also all booked. Maybe the system will be better tomorrow. I'll let you all know!!

This happen to us last summer also, the day before we left I was able to find a reservation for Chef Mickey for six people. It was like magic.

I called last Wednesday 4/29 for my ADR's for the week of 7/28 to 8/4. I got everything I wanted including Chef Mickies without having a backup plan. I got 7/28 dinner for a party of 5 with no problems. I didn't ask for too much, only Chef Mickies, 50's Primetime for Lunch and Ohana's for breakfast on 8/4.

I would keep calling to see.

I got my reservation today for 8/3 at 6:45pm It was ok with me to switch the days since I going to be there the whole week. The CM told me that maybe there was a problem with the 8/2 on the system. But I'm happy with what I got
