As far as parking...when you get to the Magic Kingdom parking booths stay to the far right (avoiding the "Bus Only" lanes". Tell the CM that you are eating at Chef Mickey's and they will direct you to the Contemporary. At the Contemporary guard shack explain that you are dining at Chef Mickey's and prepare to provide your ADR number. You will be issued a 3-hour parking pass to park at the Contemporary. There will be no charge.

It is $10 per day to valet park at the Contemporary resort, plus tip for the valet. If you are not staying at the CR or do not have a dining reservation you will not be allowed access to the parking lot so you can't valet park there.
The CR is the one resort where I have been asked for my ADR number when entering the lot. I know there have been many who park there for the easy access to the MK (without the parking fee) and they have cracked down on that. If you have an ADR, however, you should have no problem.
