Chef Mickey - parking question

Hi All,

We are staying at WDW in April - (currently we have booked to stay offsite - but that may change yet!) I would like to make a breakfast reservation for Chef Mickeys on the same morning that we intend to visit the MK - this being the case can I leave our car at the hotel (rather than move to the car park?) all day whilst we are in the resort. I'm more than happy to pay for Valet parking - I just don't want to waste time moving the car!

You cannot leave your car in the self-parking lot after breakfast.

Chances are high that you can valet park for breakfast and leave the car without a problem. Not guaranteed, but likely.

Most of the time you can valet park if you plan to visit the Magic Kingdom after your meal is finished, because you are not taking up a spot all day in the self parking lot.

Now the only times during the year when you can't valet and later on go off to the Magic Kingdom is during the major holidays and if the Contemporary is hosting a major conventions with a lot of guests.

Why not just park in MK parking lot first thing and take Monorail over to Cont. That way your car will be in the MK lot the whole day.

If you're willing to pay for valet parking, then this is the way to go. You can leave your car with the valet all day for $14 and it's perfectly acceptable.

Then you won't have to transfer via the TTC, which is a pain. At the end of the day, just walk to the Contemporary and pick up your car.

Well even though valet parking is $12 when you factor in the tip it's basically the same price when parking at the TTC.

Lol! Okay even with the tip I'm happier to park at the hotel - It's all about maximising time esp with a two year old in tow! Thanks for your help guys

Hmmmm. I have never had a problem leaving my car in the self-park at the Contemporary and going to MK after eating.
