When I went to Disney, back in the early 90's with dd, we ate a character meal in the Contemporary Hotel. I always thought it was Chef Mickey's. I later read that CM was moved their from DTD. Was there a different character meal CR or was it moved there in the early 90's and that is where we ate?

Yup, Chef Mickey's used to be near or next to where Capt. Jack's is now. We ate there with our son a couple of times in the late '80s. Mickey would occasionally come out in a chef's costume. There were a few other character meals, but not many. The one I remember well was a breakfast character meal on the Riverboat in DTD back when it was the Empress Lily. We liked it better in that form than now.

The Village restaurant became Chef Mickeys, this area is now Rainforest Cafe.
Does anyone remember Minnie Mia's Pizza the best pizza in WDW, this was in the marketplace.

Until the mid nineties the buffeteria was known as "Contemporary Cafe," and it served breakfast and dinner. The Concourse Steakhouse was called "The Concourse Grill," I think.

Anyone remember the Terrace Buffeteria, Pueblo Room, and Gulf Coast Room?
