Chef Mickey- how long to plan

We have tickets for MVMCP in November. Not doing parks before party. Want to eat a big meal before the party so thinking chef Mickey, since it’s next door to Magic kingdom. We have never been to chef Mickey. I know food is not considered the best but I’m looking more for convenience and variety on buffet so everyone will be able to find something they like.

If we want to be in line at Magic Kingdom no later than 3:15, then what time should I try to make reservations at chef Mickey so we can just walk on over when we finish. How long does a meal and all the character interactions take? I rather finish too early than to feel rushed. Would around 1 or 1:30 be ok?

I would plan for no later than 1:00.

Is 12:30 the last reservation? If so that would work and we could kill some time afterwards riding the monorail and such.

It looks like 12:25 pm is the last reservation time.

We usually spend about 2 hors at Chef Mickey. 12:25 should be perfect for you to get to the MK by 3:15 PM.
