Chef Mickey for an Adult Couple?

We went on our 25th anniversary trip and all the characters stopped by our table to pose for photos. It was a nice way to get a few photos without standing in line a very long time in the parks! Food was decent with a good variety.

DH and I are going to WDW 10/20-27 and I have several character meals planned: Crystal Palace, Cape May Cafe breakfast, 1900 Park Fare breakfast and CRT Breakfast. I'm excited and nervous at the same time, I never know what to say/do. We only had two on our last trip, Akershus breakfast and the Hollywood and Vine breakfast (somehow I missed that it was a character breakfast:confused3) and they were fine, I had myself all worked up for nothing. But I'm still anxious that people will look at us funny or make comments that we're there to see characters when we don't have children. I just try to tell myself to forget what others think and make the most of our trip :goodvibes

Now I have another question that kind of relates to the topic of this one (sorry OP, hope I'm not hijacking your thread! :goodvibes) but how many of you do the actual character greets? We've never gotten in line to have pictures taken but I would love too. Last time we seen Stitch and I wanted so badly to get in line and have my pic taken with him, he's my favorite Disney character ever! But I was afraid parents would be angry with me and whatnot.

I say who cared what parents think! You spent the same money to get in the parks as they did so you have every right to take pictures with characters. We do it and we get autographs every trip! If someone looks at me funny o don't let it ruin my day! Everyone can be a kid in Disney!!!! Do what makes you happy.... And get your money's worth! :)

I agree. Our December 2012 trip will be just me and hubby. I tried to get Chef Mickey reservations...i actually had one, then I canceled. We're doing the Princess Breakfast at Akershus though! And I plan on standing in all kinds of lines for character photos. The pp is absolutely right. You paid your money just like people with children. :) I really look forward to my character photo ops! And regarding dining where kids are coming up to your table and getting in your photos.......omgosh! I realize everyone gets excited but to have the parents of those children encourage them? When our kids were little I would have been horrified if mine had done that! Makes you want to slap some parents, eh? :scared1:

Thanks for asking the follow up question! When we in the world I saw stitch as well, and felt odd standing in line to get my picture with him.

This time, I am going for it!
