So far I've got 3 bkfsts in mind for our 7day trip. :scared1: I'm trying to "limit" long bkfsts b/c I don't want to interfere with our morning time in the parks. (We'll need to head back to the resort each day for naps so I want to make the most of mornings!)

I've got Akerhaus (lunch & dinner food there scares me! :rotfl2: ), Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's on my list for bkfsts. But I'm thinking of maybe swiching either CP or CM to dinner. If I do switch, which one would you switch? Is one place better than the other in terms of quality/selection of food at bkfst vs dinner?? (PS We'll be on the dining plan so the cost doesn't matter so much...)

Thanks, in advance!

I would do CP for dinner, because then you just stay in the park for Spectromagic and Wishes. WAIT - I am doing CP for dinner! OR - you could do a breakfast there, make an early reservation, so that you're finishing up right as the park opens.
We're also doing CM for dinner - our first night - then calling it an early night and heading back to the hotel.
We only have one breakfast - Tusker House.
With the dining plan you get more "bang for your buck" with dinner buffets over breakfast buffets - because dinner costs more. ;)
You can check out the menus here: http://allears.net/din/dining.htm
I can't talk about the food since I've never been to any of these!

Cathy - your kids and mine are about the same age! :thumbsup2 I'm thinking of starting off our trip with 1900 Park Fare (dinner) when we arrive. Both girls LOVE princesses and I thought that the "people" characters may be a good way to introduce them to the characters instead of the big Mickey/Minnie types. I don't think my girls will be scared of them but you never know! haha I have heard very mixed reviews about CM for dinner so that's why i was leaning towards bkfst there on our last day - as our farewell to Disney. But, who knows? I just can't make up my mind!

I would do CP for dinner and CM for breakfast. We felt the food was better at CM's at breakfast. You can book an early breakfast and then hit a park or a late breakfast and go to MK or Epcot in the AM and then take the monorail to the Contemporary (that is what we did and it worked out well). Dinner at CP was good and then we watched Spectro and Wishes. Just be forewarned that it can take awhile for all of the characters to get around at CP so if you plan to do Spectro book your dinner time for two hours prior to the Spectro time to be safe.

I have done bothbor bk & din. I think I would do a CM for Bk and the CP for dinner so you would be in the park.

How about for lunch instead. We usually book the latest breakfast possible or lunch.

I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner (lots and lots of times) at CP and have always enjoyed the food & service. CP is my favorite breakfast-especially when we get an early breakfast and can walk up a nearly empty Main St. The lunch & dinner food is also very good and a nice variety.

Have done dinner and breakfast once each at Chef Mickey's and while the service was fine both times I didn't really enjoy the dinner. I'm not a fan of prime rib, shrimp or salmon so while they had lots of salad choices and one nice pasta I didn't enjoy the food as much as at CP. Breakfast was good but I do like the omlet station at CP. I'm sure we'll do breakfast at Chef Mickey's again. It is fun to see 5 characters.

I would love to do a princess meal, but alas, I've got two BOYS - not two girls. ;) I'm glad I have all my ADRs done and out of the way - only 27 more days for us! :yay:
