Chef Mickey breakfast recent reviews

[A whole new world]

I've booked Inventions for evening buffet, I was originally going to book Chef Mickey for Breakfast but I'm now unsure.

I've read some bad reviews about the food, and wondered if it was worth now booking, as the kids will still see the characters at Inventions.

Has anyone been recently, to confirm if it's worth booking or not for breakfast?

it tends to be very similar characters at Cafe Mickey breakfast and Inventions dinner.
As far as breakfast food options go, without the characters (and a lot cheaper) is the Hotel New York (you don't have to be staying at the hotel to have breakfast there) which is a full hot and continental buffet option, or Annettes Diner, which has a plated hot breakfast option.

That might be a better plan. If it's the same characters as Inventions, then I'll probably stick with just doing one. We go just before they pull the characters from the hotels, so we may be lucky and see a few there too

i read you have half board vouchers? If you wanted to do Cafe Mickey for lunch or dinner, you could use your half board vouchers for those meals (in my opinion they are better value than Cafe Mickey breakfast). You could order a couple of pizzas for lunch at Cafe Mickey instead of using the set menu options, this makes Cafe Mickey a very good value lunch/dinner, and you still get the full character experience, plus you can use your half board vouchers at cash value against the bill.

I would second Elaine's idea. The pizzas are huge! We shared a pizza, garlic bread and chips and could happily feed 2 adults and a child (who loves his pizza!).
It cost us €40ish including drinks.
