Chef Mickey ADR Question......

If we have an adr @ 6:30, can we make Spectromagic by 8:00?

You will be pushing it. If they are not busy and you maybe get there a little eary you might makeit on time but you may feel rushed. We had ADR for 6:30 and barely made it to MK by 8:30 for Spectro at 9:00pm. Chef Mickeys was very busy that night and we had to wait about 20 mins to check in for our table than we waited about 5 mins for the table but it took us over an hour to eat with all the festivities.

We had an ADR for 5:10 p.m. on Saturday (9/10). Got there and there were at least 20 ppl waiting to check in in front of us... BUT, we got a pager and were beeped within 5 minutes. We were done within an hour (5 adults plus one "infant" who ate more than I did!!).

I think you can do it, but only if you catch the monorail back at the right time AND eat quickly. If you take the walking path, though, it's a goot 10 minute walk. You also probably will not have a good seat upon arrival.

I would try to change the reservation personally. I wouldn't want to feel that rush while trying to enjoy Chef Mickey's. Normally you do get seated within 15min but it isn't a guarantee and 8pm spectro means people are lining up at 7pm. Is there another night you can do one or the other?

I have a 5:00 ADR for CM and 5:00 ADR for 1900 PF for both 8:00 p.m. Spectros for our trip. I like to get to the park early and get a good spot. I think a 6:30 ADR is too late, but that is just me.

you can make it. Whether or not you get a good spot to see it is another story. If you just have 1 hour for dinner assuming you'll get in at exactly 6:30pm, that'll leave you 30 minutes to get back to MK and find a spot to watch Spectro.

The problem is by the time you get to MK, you'll be around the train station area and that section will be crowded and it'll be hard to move around, and it wouldn't be fun.

I would move the ADR earlier to 5 or 5:30pm at the latest if that's your only day to see Spectro.
