Chef Mickey ADR chances

I made an ADR for Chef Mickey for the wrong night and currently there are none available for the date/time I want. What are my chances of being able to get one if I check everyday? I need it for 11/26 between 5 and 5:30.

We currently have one for 11/29 at 5:40. If I can't change the date of the ADR, do you think they would seat us a little earlier on the 29th if we get there right at 5:00 when they open?

I'd say you stand higher than 50% chance of getting what you're looking for if you're calling regularly.

Showing up early for a 5:40 reservation couldn't hurt, they certainly aren't going to be expecting the table to have turned alread, it just may be a question of adequate staffing that early in the dinner hour.

I would continue to call because people cancel and change their plans all the time. Showing up at 5 will probably not get you anywhere if they are booked for the night. We tried to do this at Chef Mickeys and had no luck.

What time of day would you suggest trying? First thing in the morning or later in the day?

I called 3x a day until I finally got what I wanted. We were already on our trip and had to cancel our original adr due to car problems. It took me 5 days, but I finally got the adr that I wanted!!!

I called for a Chef Mickey's ADR for 29 days straight. Every day was the same thing..."Nothing available..."

Then, on day 30, I tried again and got a reservation...it was even for the exact time I had wanted!!!

So I'd say definitely keep trying...it may seem hopeless...and maybe you won't get it...but you'll never know if you don't try!
