chef mickey add on??

just book a last minute trip going 6/25.
sisters and there family have reservatons at chef mickey wednesday night for 8.she called wdwdine to see if they could add our family of 4 on and they said no way.
is there a chance if we stop in to chef mickey tueday night and try to explain to them they may make it for a table of 12 instead of 8???????
