Chef Mickey @ 7am...how to get there in time?

We are staying at POR and won't have a car, do we take a taxi? What time do busses start running and would we take the bus to MK or Epcot and then hop on the monorail?

I think I might need to see if we can move this time back!

The buses to the Magic Kingdom start at 6:30 AM, however with a 7:00 AM ADR I would take a taxi right to the Contemporary.

There are early morning buses for dining. You will want a bus to MK. Note that from the MK bus station to the Contemporary is only about a 5-7 minute walk. And if the bus is not busy, the driver may drop you off just before turning from World Drive to the bus station, which would then put you right at the entrance to Contemporary parking.

Just check for transporation information at your Resort Concierge.

Take a taxi. We did for alot of our ressies.....its just so much quicker and easier. Honestly the buses drove us crazy!

Taxi! That's your best bet. And FWIW, the monorail doesn't even start running until 7am, so all those people coming from Poly and GF won't even get there until around 7:10 or so. I speak from experience.

We found the buses to be fine. We also did a 7 am ADR at Chef Mickey and the bus was at our resort at 6.15 am. We had checked the night before. Also, the driver often takes you right in to the resort - we always got this - however I imagine that would be at his discretion depending on how busy the route was and how many stops were required. We ended up being so early we had to kick our heels about for half an hour! I must admit though, I didn't stop worrying about being late until we were on the bus and could see the Magic Kingdom in front of us. If you are prone to worrying - take a taxi!
