Chef du France & 2008 DDP

Right now, it isn't on the list of participating restaurants. But last year, the non-Disney owned restaurants weren't either, at this point in the year, because of ongoing contract negotiations/review. Look for an updated list that I'm sure will be posted here about 30 seconds after Disney makes it available, probably some time in mid-November.

If last year is fair indicator, expect the complete list of participating restaurants for 2008 to be released mid-November, not before.

I'm confused. When I made my January 2008 reservation, I was told Chefs was on the plan. So after reading this thread, I had DS call Disney Dining to find out if that had changed. Right now, the CM confirmed it is still on the plan. Should I be worried and making backup reservations?

I checked out the 2008 DDP Plan that's on this site and Chef du France was not on the list and I know its on the 2007 list that is why I am questioning it!

I think that Disney Dining is getting updates as each restaurant is added, but that Disney won't put out a revised brochure until the entire process is final. I know when I called at 180 out for our January trip, the CM made a point of mentioning which restaurants were not on the plan yet when I made ADRs for those locations. But when I called to change a ressie from Rose & Crown to Tutto Italia, the CM gave me the whole run down about "This restaurant will cost 1 table service credit on the Disney Dining Plan...", so I assume they've gotten notice that it will be on the plan for '08.

Start worrying after November 15, not before.
