I LOVE cheesecake so I was wondering where can I get good cheesecake in Disney World? We're on the dining plan so some place we can use the plan would be better! Thanks

Not sure about the dining plan but the bakery in France has excellent cheesecake.

I didn't try it, but the bakery in Norway had some really pretty strawberry cheesecake. I saw it, didn't buy it and then saw a picture on the Disney food photo thread. Now I'm kicking myself.

I've also seen pictures of tye-dyed cheesecake at the POP food court. Not sure how it tastes, but it was very interesting looking.

I've had all three of the varieties mentioned in the previous posts. Here's my take on them:

France's bakery--plain cheesecake--a must have for us each and every time. I'm not sure what it is about it but it is amazing. Really dense and exquisite.

Norway's bakery--raspberry cheesecake--very light and fluffy, had more of a no-bake cheesecake texture and taste to it. Not bad, but no need to have it again.

POP Century--tie dye cheesecake--had a thick crust made from cake mix, possibly?? The flavor of the actual cheesecake was the same as any 'ol plain cheesecake, just a lot of food coloring to make it funky. It was decent but no where near the calibar of France's bakery.

We also had POP's lunar cheesecake with marshmallows and chocolate on it. The topping was too much, I thought, for the cheesecake. It was actually so thick we pulled off the topping and ate it like a big hunk of smore's candy, and then ate the cheesecake by itself. Not something we'll try again, but it wasn't awful, either.

I haven't tried them myself but am interested in some of the other offerings I've seen on menus at WDW like a Butterfinger cheesecake, or a peanut butter chocolate one, etc. I love a great slice of cheesecake! Of what we've had, France is tops and takes the "cake." :teeth:

The Concourse Steakhouse at the Contempory has a butterfinger cheesecake...I can honestly say this is the best cheesecake I have ever had!!! YUMMY   I was already full by desert time, but I had heard rave reviews about it, so DH and I got it and split it.....

what about the Cheesecake factory at Disney quest
