We are staying in Seattle on our way down to Anaheim (VERY early a.m. flight out to LAX) and were wondering if it is worth it to go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We have never been and have always wanted to try. I know there is one in Anaheim, but we won't be going while we're there - at least not this time.

The restaurant is about 20 minutes away (by MapQuest) from our hotel and we would be taking a taxi. Is it worth it or should we look for something else???

Any suggestions/opinions???

When we lived in cities w/ Cheesecake Factories, I never went often. Now that it's been awhile, I would say yes. We went to one in Jan of this year, and I do not remember their food being that delicious! I had the best club sandwich of my life. Remember, their menu is like a book. They have everything under the sun in it. I actually liked my lunch better than I did the cheesecake. So my opinion is, yes! You should go.

Yes, go! The Cheesecake Factory is very yummy! It's kinda expensive, but you get your money's worth. The portions are huge for me and there's so many things to choose from that I always have trouble deciding. And don't forget to save room for dessert! When I get a slice of cheesecake, which is not very often bc I'm so full, I always share a piece. They're really rich but ever so good! :goodvibes

Without a doubt. We had lunch there Sunday here in Phoenix. We love it. As for the cheesecake, try the one with coocolate and coconut. YUMM. I would ask for the whipped cream made with splenda. it is not as thick and rich. The regular is very different and we do not care for it. Slaads are great. We had the French Country but have tried many. Be careful as portions are huge. Split and you will be fine. :goodvibes

Wow, you were close to us. (Well 50 min). :goodvibes

Next time try the shrimp and bacon club..... OMG......

There are three locations here in Atlanta. I absolutely love the Cheesecake Factory! Yes, you should give it a try! :)

Oh my, I would never pass up an opportunity to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. We have one here locally and we eat there at least twice a month. Their menu is like 15 pages, so much to choose from, the menu is online if you want to check out what all they have.

YES!!! GO!!! It is so yummy! We drive 2 hours to eat there since they are not close to our house. We will be eating there next week during our trip! :)

Cheesecake Factory is yummy - but as others have said, the portions are huge. My husband and I always share an entree, and sometimes we get salads as well. They bring bread before the meal too, and even though I know I should NOT eat that bread, somehow it calls to me. My husband adores the sourdough and I love the wheat - so we each get individual loaves!

About the cheesecake - SAVE ROOM! It is incredible. We always share a slice. Sometimes we get the "fancy" flavors, but lately we've gone back to the "regular" cheesecake with some fruit on top. You forget how well they do plain too. And if anyone in your party doesn't like cheesecake (my dad is allergic) you can order non-cheesecake desserts too.

Enjoy it and have fun!

We never miss an opportunity to go to the cheesecake factory. At the end of the meal we just ask for our desert to go and eat it later as a midnight snack.

I love The Cheesecake Factory, the food is delicious. After my meal, I always share a piece of the Godiva cheesecake (very rich and chocolate-y) with my girlfriends. We always joke that if everyone ate a piece, there would be world peace - makes you feel just heavenly! lol

Are you going to the Southcenter Mall one? Are you staying in Seatac or actually Seattle?

Do'nt know why I'm asking, I'm just curious. But if your'e going to the Southcenter one, FYI, that's in the same mall area as Rainforest Cafe. So *if* RFC is in your plans at Downtown Disney, and *if* you wanted to join the Safari Club for the benefits (priority seating, a discount or a free appetizer with an entree), you could join there while at Cheesecake Factory, (CF is in the parking lot, and RFC is in the mall), and have your temporary card already when you get to Anaheim.

That's a whole lotta IFs! :)

Aw man, so close. We're going to be up in the Southcenter Mall area next Wednesday and I have a $5 coupon for RFC, so I was considering going there that day...if I had been, and if you were going to be in town already, and ifyou are going to that Cheesecake Factory, we could have had a mini-meet! But it looks like you'll be in a day or so later. Drat!

Yay - sounds like a good choice. I was looking at their menu online and it looks fabulous!

I'm actually not sure which location we would go to. We're staying at the Doubletree on International Blvd by SeaTac and the only location I see that is Seattle is on Pike Street. Is there a closer one or another one?

yes, there's one in southcenter...which is right across the way from the airport...shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or so to get there! :)

Oh, you guys rock!! I had no idea that it was so close - makes my decision even easier for sure. Thanks for the input and the direction :thumbsup2

mmmmmmmmmmmm Cheesecake Factory....yes go, even if only for dessert go. You won't regret it! :)
