My kitchen! Seriously...I found the recipe on Allears.net under WDW recipes and have made it numerous times. It comes out so close to LeCelliers but you have to really follow the step by step directions. I once added the last ingredients in a different order and it came out kind of curdled. Once it's all put together then you can heat it some more but...slowly. In about 6 weeks my DH and I will get the original at F&W festival. I don't think any other restaurant offers it but I could be wrong.
Really truly? Are you serious?!
I really do not care about the steak. I just want to try the cheese soup. I would be happy to eat it sitting on the curb, or up on top the Canada mountain.
I can't wait to try the soup and I have no hope of getting an ADR.
We also made the recipe at home. If I recall, we had to try a couple different stores to find the specific cheese it called for, and it was a labor intensive process, and messy. However, when we were done, it was really amazingly close to the real thing, and we had a LOT of it. We bought some pretzel breadsticks at our local grocery store as well.
I don't really care for Le Cellier other than the soup (and we're DVC, so no free dining) so this works for us.
In all the attempts I have made to do this , I have been denied, and I wasn't going at busy times either. They are not equipped to do take out.You have been very lucky, and I am jealous. Most people are denied though.I think they need a CS kiosk and have it available all the time and bring back the beavertails too
Agree!!!!!!! We are not going to Le Cellier this trip, first time ever without the soup.
Or the pretzel bread sticks
or the ice wine martini
or the creme brulee
