What is the name of the cheese platter that I have seen on these boards? I thought it was called all hands on deck but when I talked with Shoreside Concierge they didn't know what I was talking about. Also...does anyone have a picture of it?

Thanks!

All Hands on Deck. Sometimes they change up the items a little, so it doesn't always look like this.

Yes, it's called the All Hands on Deck Cheese Platter. It's on the Room Service menu.

Thank you so much. I think he was just looking at the room amenities that you can pre-order. He also mentioned that I can get cheese/crackers/fruit from the concierge lounge.

The concierge lounge is awesome! You can get a lot more than cheese and fruit. About a hour before each diner seating they offer and open bar. They always have little snacks out, the coffee machine/expresso/machine is available. Breakfast snacks, cereals and fruit in the morning, sweets throughout the day. At night my husband would get a drink for himself and bring me a glass of wine from the open bar and I would enjoy while getting ready for diner or the nightly entertainment. Have a great time.

You can ask them to customize it with the cheeses you prefer. We usually request extra crackers and no blue cheese.

We LOVED the All Hands on Deck platter and ordered it late each afternoon while we got ready for dinner. The grapes were so good that, after the first time, we asked for an extra bowl of just grapes. Yum!

On the Fantasy, back in March,we ordered gift #1181,$38, Fruit and Cheese Platter, through the DCL site.
If I knew how to post a picture here, I would show it to you,or just PM me with your e-mail.
One of our traditions is to have a platter and some wine on our vrandah as we pull away from the dock.
So I order it online, along with instructions on what time I'd like it delivered.
It lasted us for days!! It was HUGE!:cloud9:

Hmmm, I think I'll stick with the free All Hands on Deck Cheese Platter and the Fresh Fruit Bowl. I can't see spending almost $40 when you can get basically the same thing for no extra charge, other than a tip.

Except that room service is not available when you get on the ship. It sounds like they wanted to have their wine and cheese on their verandah as they pulled away from port.

LOL I guess I'm cheap then. I'd get some fruit and snacks from Fillmore's or Goofy's Galley to take back to my room.
