Okay, DH and I will be there the weekend of Jan 31-Feb 2. I know the cheerleaders arrive Jan 31 also. We plan to avoid them at the resorts, but what about the parks? Our big park day will be Sat. we plan on MK and maybe Epcot (we don't mind MK on Sat under regular circumstances). Anyone know it they have competitions that day or what park they usually go to?

During our trip this past Feb. we had the cheerleaders the first part of our trip then Junior Dance Teams the second part. We didn't really notice to much of either. I mean you'd see larger groups of teen girls then you normally would walking around. But they weren't annoying or disrespectful. I was stressed about it, after reading so many negative expierences on this board. We had one group that was a bit over the top in MGM but that was it. About 15 minutes before the parade started there was a group of about 6 -8 girls and they were walked up the middle of the desserted street linked arms signing obnoxiously. But they moved on quick. Then later that night at Fantamic they were only 1 bench over from us. Well they did keep deciding during the wait time that they were going to dance and sign on the benches. Alittle annoying. But the CM's kept asking them to stop. Personally after the 3rd time I think they should of been asked to leave. It didn't ruin our trip one bit though. We weren't staying onsite so we didn't see them at any resorts.

My DH is gonna love this!! Cheerleaders in Feb. and a sorority convention in May at the Radisson, Port Canaveral, lol:crazy:

We were unfortunate enough to run into them just once. They practiced their cheers right outside the rooms at POR at 8:45 a.m.!! They had to be asked to move & the CMs moved them to some place far, far away, God bless those CMs. But, I didn't notice them causing any havoc at the parks. They were a bit loud on the buses, but that's better than crying babies! :p
