Cheer Summit D1 D2 Worlds May 2020 Fastpass +

Hello all,

My daughter's Junior Level 2 Small team qualified for D2 Summit held at ESPN Wide World of Sports May 8-10, 2020. This will be our first year participating in this event. We are planning to register to stay at a value resort (All-Stars) through Varsity's Summit Packages which includes Park Hopper Tickets. I am wondering if anyone knows how Fastpass + will work with this arrangement for 2020. From what I can tell, in past years Fastpasses could not be reserved until tickets were picked up in person and loaded onto a MyDisneyExperience account. I am hoping that might be different this year since Disney switched to date specific ticketing in 2019 and maybe the tickets will be able to be loaded earlier for this event. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciate! Thanks Disney Fans!!!!

My daughter's team attended last year, and they just got a PAID bid (YAY!) for this year. They're also J2 Small. I haven't heard yet if they've made a change for FP+ this year. It's so disappointing to not be able to plan ahead! I'll let you know if I learn something new.

Pretty sure it will be the same protocol it has always been. this is the protocol used for all of the sports events, not just cheer.

We are headed down at the end of Feb. for a dance competition. No fast passes can be booked until after you get your tickets. They do not get their tickets until they check in at the hotel.

It's driving my daughter crazy. We have season passes so she could get some at the 30 day mark but no one else in her group could so she will be waiting in lines. Crowd calendar's show 8's on most days.
