Yay it's Friday. We've got lots of things to do today to keep us busy. Hopefully it doesn't rain so I can mow the yard before we leave.

I'm planning on leaving at 4am or earlier. Depends on if I'm able to sleep or not. I don't want to get down there too early because we can't check in until 3:30, but I'm sure we could find something to do to pass the time.

So today is a non work day for you? Then your vacation has started already. How many hours of driving will it be for you?

Vacation started yesterday at 3:11pm .

The last time we went, it took around 12 or so hours, but we also had other family members with us so stopping at EVERY rest area on the way down was a must. This time since it's just us, it should only take about 8 and 1/2 hours. That's really not too bad. The kids should sleep until 9 or so, then we'll stop and have breakfast and head out again. We should get there around 1 or 2. First stop will be for lunch, then grocery store for odds and ends things, then pick up the keys.

Are you staying in a condo? I don't know why I thought you were going to the beaches in Florida. I hear beach I think Florida just because of where I live. I've been to Myrtle Beach once but wait that's in South Carolina. I don't think I've ever been to NC.

Yes, we're staying in a condo. I would have rented a house, but with just the 4 of us, this was cheaper. We'll be oceanfront on the 4th floor. I love that view in the mornings.

I'm planning on taking them to Cresent Beach, FL next year for 2 weeks. I figure if I'm gonna drive that far, I'm gonna get my money's worth. We already have a house planned for down there. It's not oceanfront, but it's just a stone's throw away.

I just realized that I'll be in Florida twice next year.
I've been to Myrtle Beach once. I liked it well enough, but I think I'll wait til the kids are a little older to go there. Topsail is more of a residential beach.

I'm so glad it's Friday! Even if it is the 13th. That's never bothered me any. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. It's a pretty good day. We are down to just one boss today and she's the good one! So we are hoping for a little fun today.

Wendy, you have a wonderful time! I'm so jealous! I live about 10 minutes from the beach but I never go there (too many tourists ) so I miss having beach vacations. Have fun! Oh, and what day and time can we expect to see you on the webcam?

Hi guys!

I am still lounging around this Sat. morning. I have to meet my mother at the Hallmark store in an hour for the ornament premier. It's a tradition for us to spend gobs of money on ornaments that we don't need.

I have to go into work again today because I lost my mind yesterday and thought that the 14th was Monday so I didn't do a final payment for a client. I realized it when I was almost home last night.

The rest of the day should be spent de-cluttering and cleaning. My friends are coming next weekend and their bedroom tends to become my storage area so I have some work to do.

Well another Monday is upon us. I'm looking forward to today because all weekend it rained. Today the sun is out.

All the sales start this week on school supplies so I'll be buying them up today. Can you believe that my kids go back on August 10th? Less than a month away. I have lots to do before then.

Good Morning. This is a quick hello as I think my client just drove up. My weekend was so busy I don't even remember having one. I did get to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I enjoyed it but as I had just re-read the book a couple months ago, I missed certain parts that they cut. I understand that a 900+ page book can't fit into a 2 hour movie and it really was very good.

I finally took the kids to see Nancy Drew on Friday night. I'm a little late seeing that one. Anyway I felt like I was there to see the wrong movie. Everyone and I mean everyone was there for Harry Potter. I just don't care for those movies. While four or five of the other theaters were packed with Harry fans I sat with three other families watching young Nancy. At least I wasn't fighting for a seat.

Good Morning! I can't believe I get to do the morning greeting this morning! Of course it is almost afternoon for most of you. Boss #1 just got back from Madagascar so I was listening to her adventures. Sounds like a unique place.

Hey Chicks & Rooster!!!

Just dropping by real quick. I'm on vacation this week and so far it's been nice. My neighbor and I got a lot done yesterday. Went to the beach today @ 10:00 a.m. I'm brown on the top of my arms, still really white underneath!!! and have red knees now... It was so nice to just sit and chat! Both of us brought a book to read and never even cracked it open!

Rain is due in for the next few days, but I don't care, I'm on vacation!!

Hello Cheeky Chicks, and Gentlemen!

Yes, I know it's been a month of Sundays since I've been on here. Our Websense server is malfunctioning here at work, giving me a rare chance to post in here when I'm not being dragged away by two needy little girls.

I hope everyone is ok.

For us, we went on our first, and hopefully not last, Disney Cruise in late April. I never wrote a trip report, but it was awesome. Needless to say we will go again, once we have the $$$ saved up in a few years or so.

In October, we're going back to WDW during our girls' Fall Break. We went to DL last summer, but this will be the first time in over 2 years we will have been to WDW itself, so we're looking forward to it.

In case I'm blocked from visiting here again in the near future, I hope everyone is doing alright. If anyone wants to talk to me, please PM me, and I'll at least get an email saying someone has PMed me, and I can at least check up on it at home and respond.

If I'm not blocked at work, I'll certainly be back on here more often. But I'll more than likely be blocked again soon.
