Morning Chicks and RoosterS!!! Sorry i've been in and out lately, just been crazy busy, leading to crazy tired, leading to crazy sick! i am ready to pull this baby outta me :)

How are you guys doing??? Susan, I must admit, i am a go with the gut feeling type of person too!! It's wierd intuition I have every now and then!!

Nice to see you Michelle. Has everything been going well with the pregnancy? I know tired is just a part of it. I hope today is a good day for you

aww thanks!! pregnancy is going well, this little bugger is just getting really long and i am a very small person! so whenever he stretches or moves, i feel nauseous! It's like morning sickness again :sad2: Other than that though, he's doing great and Once i can get into the groove of the day i am doing well too!!

The kids are asleep still, so i am trying to type quietly, because i swear even just breathing wakes these kids up!

Good Morning!

I'm glad things are going well Michelle- but sorry it's taking so much out of you!

I wonder how Wendy's beach trip is going? Hopefully she is having fun. I've got to start packing for my cruise. I leave a week from Sunday and have so much to do between now and then. I just need to figure out what clothes I am bringing so I don't wear them next week and then have to do laundry. :thumbsup2

Good Morning and Happy Friday. :teeth:

Susan I forgot you were going on a Cruise. How long will you be gone? I'm going on a little mini vacation to Destin, Florida the first week of August. Just four nights at the beach. More importantly I have 195 days until Disney. :woohoo: Can you tell which one I want to go too more? :lmao:

Good morning!

Well, I got a call from my friend that she is not coming so I definitely have a cake that needs to be eaten. Who's coming? If you hop a plane right now, you could still be here by tonight. My house is even clean!

The real bummer is I wasted a clean house. :sad2: Hopefully I can keep it that way for a few weeks. :rolleyes1

Good Morning.

Susan did you eat the whole cake by yourself? :rotfl: I hope you washed it down with a big glass of ice cold milk. Now I'm wishing I had some cake in my kitchen right about now.

A clean house makes me happy. :teeth:

Good Morning everyone. We made it home in one piece. It was beachy, sandy, hot hot hot, and WONDERFUL. We got home around 7am this morning. SOOO TIREDDD!!!

No, I didn't eat the whole cake. I might have wanted to. . . but I was good. I actually took it over to my parents who protested having cake in their house and then went to the grocery store to buy ice cream to go with it! I like having a clean house too, makes me feel like I can play all weekend!

Hey WEndy! Welcome back! Glad to hear you had fun! Tell us all about it!:cool1:

Hey Chicks and Rooster(s)... our other male has returned to the roost!!

Welcome home Wendy!!
Any cake left Susan?

Happy Birthday Stephanie !!!!! (Oktogo Stephanie)...wonder is she'll wander by us soon! (I noticed it on the Birthday thread)

We're having a wonderful weekend weather wise here. All last week it rained, then rained some more. We've been playing outside, cooking (or I should say DH is grilling) outside. Now if it wasn't so hot.

Wendy welcome home. I can't wait to hear all about your trip.

Susan I bought one of those half cakes yesterday at the grocery. Chocolate and oh so yummy.

Hi Jeanny.

Good Morning Chicks.

Happy Monday I think. :upsidedow The sun is shinning so it's probably going to be a fab kind of day.

My kids are sleeping at my mom's house tonight. School starts in three weeks so we are trying to squeeze in everything they wanted to do. My mom is such a from scratch kind of baker and cooking for that matter. She loves to teach the kids. She called and asked each one what they wanted to make so she could make sure she had all the ingredients on hand.

DH is I are hitting the town tonight. :rotfl: Well I'm not sure what we're doing but SOMETHING! Maybe a movie that's rated "R". :lmao: That's living on the wild side.

Wendy I can't wait for the details of your trip. Wake up!

Thanks Tricia :)
Have fun on adults night ::yes:: that should be a blast!!!!

Wendy, I want to hear all about vacation!!! :beach:

Susan, any :cake: left????

Hiya Jeanny  and all the other chix and roosters!

Morning all! Just sitting here waiting for my coffee to pick me up :surfweb: . I need to mow the yard and finish unpacking if I ever find the energy ;) .

Well, vacation was wonderful. We left the house at 3:00am on Saturday morning and got to the beach at 12:30pm. Check-in wasn't until 3:30 so we had some time to kill. The kids were begging me to take them to the ocean. We were only about 5 minutes away, and Mommy was playing the bad guy making them wait ;) . The anticipation was worth it. We went and had lunch and shopped for some souvies. Finally I asked them if they wanted to go see the ocean. Of course the answer was yes.

Well, Sami's first reaction was "WOW!". Jordan is just always amazed when he sees it. Now Ethan hasn't been to the beach since he was 15 months old, so this was really a new experience for him. I kept telling him there was lots of sand for him to play with. He kept asking me if it was like his sand box at home. I just told him sort of. When we finally walked out onto the beach, he started jumping up and down and laughing :yay: . I asked him what was so funny and he said, "This is the biggest sand box I've ever seen!" . Only a 3 year old could come up with something like that :goodvibes .

There's not really much to do at this beach. It's more of a residential area. We spent most of our time on the beach and in the pool. I started to take them to the turtle hospital (only 1 of 2 in the nation that care for Loggerhead Turtles) but the line was around the block and they didn't
feel like waiting. We did get to see the Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington. Jordan is a real history and war buff so he was really interested in that.

I was just glad we were away from the hustle and bustle of home, and I could spend some quality time with the kids and relax. Well, the relaxing part never really happened :) .

I now know why I like flying. The drive down was great, but the drive home was depressing. We left at 9:00pm Friday night and should have made it home by 4 or 5, but Mommy kinda went on a little adventure at one point on the way back :rolleyes1 . Yes, I'll admit it. I got lost, but hey at least we can say we've been someplace we've never been before :rotfl:. At least I can. The kids were asleep, so they never have to know about Mommy's little adventure :thumbsup2 . We pulled into the garage at exactly 7am Saturday morning. Can't wait to do it again next year  .

Good morning chicks! (and Roosters!)

Wendy, I'm glad you had such a good time. I heard about a shark attack and I wondered if that was near where you were.

Tricia, enjoy your night out! Have a wonderful time!

Hey DMM, no cake left. I made my mother take it to work. :thumbsup2

I saw Hairspray yesterday and I have to say that it was fabulous! If you want to smile for a couple hours, go see it. I was a big fan of the original movie but was not familiar with the music from the Broadway production. I loved it! I'm not a huge fan of Travolta but he was hilarious! :cheer2: Of course we are all cheering on our local boy Zac Efron who was great.

No thank goodness. My Mom called while we were down there and told me. Needless to say we didn't go very far out. Just enough to get our knees wet. The little ones sat on the beach and made chocolate chip cookies out of the wet sand popcorn:: .

I know I didn't eat any sand and I brushed my teeth 3 times a day, but I swear I had more sand in my mouth than anything. And don't you just love how sand can get into cracks you didn't know you had? That was my favorite part of the whole vacation  . Just kidding!

Oh yes, and it keeps appearing for days. :rolleyes1

::yes:: Just makes me miss the beach even more :sad1: .

I prefer sand over snow anyday though. I could live where it's warm year round. People say, "Don't you want to go on vacation where it's cool and comfortable?" I say, "NO WAY. Give me hot and sticky anyday". I'm not a cold weather person. WV has almost perfect weather. No hurricanes or major tornados, earthquakes  . But I would definitely move South if given the opportunity. :cool2:

Night everyone. Vacation is over at 7:53 in the morning :sad1: . Only 9 months and 5 days until another one. YIPPEE! :dance3:

Hi there!

We're less than a week out from our next vacation. This week is busy!
