Very cute pic, Fab. Happy belated birthday to you, as well! I like your life goal (having enough free time to spend an entire day playing computer games). How's the training for the Half Marathon going? Me? It's definitely not gonna happen in 2008, but we're thinking about 2009. KAMommy's & my friend StitchIsOurHero is really wanting to do it (but she has cheerleader duties already set for Jan. 2008) - she & I have almost reached the point where we're going to dare each other in 2009.
Susan - It is EVERY man's dream to be able to pee in a waterfall. Some just aren't articulate enough or honest enough with themselves to admit it. It just brings a certain closeness with nature to oneself. Kind of like those old Massengill commercials (you know the ones with the women walking on the beach), except not about mysterious lady parts.
DMM - How late in May will you be in WDW? We'll be starting our vacation at Vero Beach the last couple of days in May and into June, and we're talking about taking a day trip to WDW one of those days for Star Wars Weekends. (never mind - I see your ticker is sometime in early May)
Speaking of which (Star Wars)- my Falcon Fund (I set it up to save up for the $500 Lego Millennium Falcon) is up to $85, saved up over the last 6 weeks out of my weekly regular budget (for lunches, gas, & parking). If I can continue at this rate (about $14 per week), I should have almost enough (somewhere between $450 and $475) saved up between now and late October when it starts shipping to stores / direct orders. Maybe KAMommy will float me the rest if I'm 'almost' there... Not that I'm obsessing about it or anything...
We had a good Easter. April 8th is both my daughter's (8 years old) and my father-in-law's (61 years old) birthdays. So we celebrated their birthdays, along with the regular Easter festivities yesterday. The kids are out of school today (teacher in-service days for our county) so they stayed at Nana & Papaw's last night. How did I spend my free night without kids last night? Writing on my trip report. I'm a wild man, I know. KAMommy was wiped out from the weekend, so she just crashed and vegged out in front of the TV. It is COLD here too - lows in the low 20s overnight, and the highs are in the 40s. At least my grass ain't growing out of control when it's this cold.
Hi Muffycat!
