Very cute pic, Fab. Happy belated birthday to you, as well! I like your life goal (having enough free time to spend an entire day playing computer games). How's the training for the Half Marathon going? Me? It's definitely not gonna happen in 2008, but we're thinking about 2009. KAMommy's & my friend StitchIsOurHero is really wanting to do it (but she has cheerleader duties already set for Jan. 2008) - she & I have almost reached the point where we're going to dare each other in 2009.

Susan - It is EVERY man's dream to be able to pee in a waterfall. Some just aren't articulate enough or honest enough with themselves to admit it. It just brings a certain closeness with nature to oneself. Kind of like those old Massengill commercials (you know the ones with the women walking on the beach), except not about mysterious lady parts.

DMM - How late in May will you be in WDW? We'll be starting our vacation at Vero Beach the last couple of days in May and into June, and we're talking about taking a day trip to WDW one of those days for Star Wars Weekends. (never mind - I see your ticker is sometime in early May)

Speaking of which (Star Wars)- my Falcon Fund (I set it up to save up for the $500 Lego Millennium Falcon) is up to $85, saved up over the last 6 weeks out of my weekly regular budget (for lunches, gas, & parking). If I can continue at this rate (about $14 per week), I should have almost enough (somewhere between $450 and $475) saved up between now and late October when it starts shipping to stores / direct orders. Maybe KAMommy will float me the rest if I'm 'almost' there... Not that I'm obsessing about it or anything...:teacher:

We had a good Easter. April 8th is both my daughter's (8 years old) and my father-in-law's (61 years old) birthdays. So we celebrated their birthdays, along with the regular Easter festivities yesterday. The kids are out of school today (teacher in-service days for our county) so they stayed at Nana & Papaw's last night. How did I spend my free night without kids last night? Writing on my trip report. I'm a wild man, I know. KAMommy was wiped out from the weekend, so she just crashed and vegged out in front of the TV. It is COLD here too - lows in the low 20s overnight, and the highs are in the 40s. At least my grass ain't growing out of control when it's this cold.

Hi Muffycat!

I have to be a responsible adult before I indulge here much more ('cause I really want to discuss peeing in a waterfall, for sure ;) )

But Hi!! To AAP and Muffycat and GD.

 Afternoon all!

I'm on a mad hunt to find my SD card that one of my kids removed from my camera and has now lost it somewhere!!!!! :furious: what a fun day!

And those are so small they could be anywhere. I feel for you. Are the kids old enough to at least tell you everyplace they've been today?

Hiya AAP! Long time, no see.

Very cute pic, Fab.

Thanks for the belated birthday wishes! Glad you used your time off in a productive manner - is the trip report finished? Wow - $500 for a single Lego item. And one that requires Adult Assembly, even.

The training is going well, but I was supposed to go 6 miles on Sunday for my "long run" and the gym closed early and I was wayyyy too lazy to get there on time. Must . ...fight . . . . the backside . . . I mean backslide . . .!!!

We'll almost definitely be there again in 2009, so we can use Lori's designs then. :thumbsup2

Nope. I'm only about halfway through Day #2, which was the day we did the Keys To The Kingdom tour in Magic Kingdom. We took lots of mental notes, and between the four of us we've remembered a lot of details. I've been writing about our KttK tour just by itself for a couple of nights now, since we were able to remember so much detail. I'm hoping I might be done with the whole report in a week or so.

The Lego set is really expensive, so even if I save up enough money I may yet talk myself out of it. We'll see how well our finances are doing by that point, and if we can 'afford' something that expensive.

GD - I just love to read your Disney resume in your siggy.

Fabs - I miss you and I love that pho-toe of the girls!! Put it in your siggy! And congrats that they still like each other... I give it 2 more years. ;-)

MuffyJo - What does "10,781 posts closed down for business. " mean? What did I miss??

Hi Susan!! No progress on the anniv. trip.

Hi GW - where ever you are!

Hi GW - where ever you are!

It looks like 2008 will be a slow year for us - we've only got one trip pre-early-possibly-planned so far. 2009 will hopefully be another WDW 3-fer for us. And 2009 is when I start to kick it with 4 weeks of vacation each year (it's good to be a boss)!

Maybe one of these years it will start to get old for us.

NO such luck! I just get blank stares and now they are peacefully napping and i still can't find the dern thing! hahaha!

Afternoon!

This has been one of those days. I knew I should have called in sick and went shopping with my aunts. Sometime over the weekend some of our electrictrical outlets here at work went kablooey and all the main floor computers were out of electricity. After a whole day of waiting for the landlord to get an electrician we got desperate and started running extension cords all over the place. Now we all have a computer and my internet withdrawls are subsiding. :) Sorry I missed out on the morning discussions.

Hope you all had a nice Easter. I did but the weekend went fast.

GD: My uncle was able to pee into the waterfall last night but didn't really want to discuss it. :confused3 Glad your lego fund is doing well. I am raising money by selling stuff on e-bay again but haven't decided on a purchase to work for yet. Last year it was a Nintendo DS.

Fab: I desperately need one of those alarm clocks! Last night I moved my alarm to the other side of the bed so I had to actually think before hitting snooze. This morning went much better. Your kids are gorgeous! I love that smile on Madeleine's face!

Everyone else: Hello! Happy Day After Easter!

:lmao:

Honestly, you'd think he'd have some compassion for those of us who cannot partake directly. :snooty:

AAP - you need to be around more so I can give you the blow by blow of my spring cleaning experience.

For instance - who snuck all these old moldy textbooks into my basement?? Honestly, if someone is going to store crap in my house, why couldn't it be jewels? Or at least chocolate?

Good Morning.

Fab the kids are simply adorable. How fast they grow on us. I never did upload my pictures from the weekend.

Hi GW - where ever you are!

Hi Chris. My kids have spring break this week so I'm either waiting in line for the computer:lmao: or out trying to have some fun with them. :confused3

I see they are having free dining again in the fall. I just got a Disney rewards update with the offering. Don't they know my kids are in school at that time? :teeth:

Well, we're off to the Orthodontist today for some fun, fun, fun.

Tricia - how do I keep missing notification on free dining??? Did you read it here or get something from Disney?

Have a great day!
