Chris are you definitely wanting to go away for your anniversary? Just a thought, but could you just play tourist in your own town. Stay downtown in a nice hotel. Eat at that fancy restaurant that you've been wanting to try but never did. Take a carriage ride around town. Shop till you drop (oh, sorry I must be thinking of me again).


Why did they move the smilies aroung again?

I have the feeling we're going to end up in Chicago for a weekend (our anniv is on a Wed), but it can't hurt to try, right?

I woke up a bit late this morning and I don't know how that happened. Now I am off. I hate that.

I haven't had a problem with the smilies except for the loss of the big teeth ("I'm a problem child") grin. and this one sucks as a replacement.

Chris - someday I want to actually go to Chicago. I flew into O'hare once and went to a lovely conference in a lovely hotel (where my boss got drunker than the barely out of teenage-dom assistants) but have never actually felt the wind in my hair.

We've actually been "together" for 25 yrs. We just didn't make a huge effort to get the piece of paper. That right there makes me -2 when we started dating. LOL
