Yes it is. I'm just crossing my fingers that we come home with no broken bones. We've never been before so this should be very interesting.

I've been running around here like crazy trying to find gloves and hats. Of course the gloves we have (wool kind) you can't use in the snow. The funny thing is all the stores down here are putting out bathing suits. At least the winter things that are left are on clearance. Score one for me. Gloves for the kids were reduced to $2.97 a pair.

For all you Northerns ...........keep in mind that we really have never seen snow before. This ought to be quite an experience.

Jeanny thanks for the pictures. I really can't imagine what's it's like having that much snow around. It's going to be really weird playing in that white puffy stuff. I must say I'm looking forward to it. After a week I'm sure I'll be happy to leave it behind.

Just be glad you won't have to shovel the snow!! We haven't had any snow this year (so far) and I'm quite happy! It saves on the plowing bill, there's no sand or salt tracked into the house.

Tucker loves the snow as you can see! He loves to make "Tucker Angels"! I hate driving in snow, ugh! But I love to stay home and watch it out of my living room windows.

I cannot stay long - Madeleine will only tolerate her exersaucer for a few minutes but I have to agree with Jeanny - I'm not missing the snow this year!

It's very warm here today, supposed to be in the 80's but then we will have a 20 degree drop for Thursday according to the local weather folks. I am anxious to just get to lunch. I am antsy today.

Well, I just know how nice it is outside and I want to go have my lunch and soak up the sun and eat my Reeses Peanut Butter Cup. In fact, knowing that I have that treat (which is very rare) is in fact probably why I am antsy. Choclate is calling me. . .

Tricia, thanks for the kind thoughts. We are all a bit shocked that he went so quickly but I feel that we all had our chance to say our goodbyes so that is a blessing.

yes, I will be running the race, or breaking my leg a week beforehand in order to save face. If I don't have a goal, I'm going to carry around this extra baby weight until I die and it will really and truly suck.
