We changed that a while back. I'm color-blind, so I'm the worst judge of all when picking contrasting foreground/background colors. I read somewhere a long time ago that yellow on blue is the best contrast after yellow on black, so that's what I default to (unless told differently). I don't automatically think of "hard-to-read" issues. Plus, there was originally a swirly watermark pattern that did funky things to the eyes... KAMommy suggested a solid pumpkin yellow background for the Trip Reports pages, which is much, much easier on the eyes.

I've got probably 80% of our October report written. I haven't worked on it for 3 or 4 weeks, so I don't remember exactly where I left off. Maybe work on it a bit tonight and tomorrow (between the Norms, that is...)

So Fab, I did some research on the marathon (that you will be doing alone ) and I can't see as they have formally thrown the dates out there yet. Judging from past history, it should be the weekend of Jan 4th. The res agents don't have that info yet either.

I was kind of surprised that someone knew the information already - it seems like Disney gives that out *after* the current marathon has passed. But if you hear anything, do let me know.

I think they won't do it Jan 4th because it's so close to New Year's. My money is on the following weekend.

And the Disney Marathon organizers confirmed that it will be the 12th and 13th of Jan. The weekend before is just too close to New Year's.

And Hazzi, alas, you are right. One must be 14 to enter. So unless your birthday is between now and Jan 13th, you won't make it.
