Morning/Afternoon!

Wow there was a lot to catch up on. I haven't touched a computer since Friday night. I went back to my little hometown over the weekend for a visit with my best friend and my 2 year old "neice." We also had a suprise party for a close family friend. She was completely suprised and it was so nice. Her husband has been battling cancer for a couple years now and is in a rough patch so she really needed it. My "neice" Alyssa is really into princesses right now and wears her princess dress all day. She's getting to be so much fun now that she is talking more and her little personality is coming out.

Sounds like you had a very nice weekend. We spent most of catching up on tasks - like making the baby's bookshelf (Dh kept saying "thank goodness the directions are so clear because it's a nightmare to put together - and then he had put it together backward!)

Oh yeah, those bookshelves are always so easy. My mom is still mad about a bathroom cupboard that my dad and I put together wrong. We were too stubborn to fix it.

Well he was too stubborn *not* to fix it - trouble was that then he didn't get to his expense reports to get reimbursed for his travel. Arrghghghg.

I imagine his trips must be very expensive. Wasn't he in Iceland?

How's the basement pool coming along?

Yes, iceland! And he almost always travels first class. That's like $1000 each flight he takes. He was doing really well keeping up until the last few weeks, but some of those amex bills have given me hives.

The basement stinks. I bought a dehumidifier on line for the basement and a humudifier for the upstairs bedroom. Yes, I felt rather silly.
