Good morning Cheeky's.
I have a photobucket account all set up. Now I did try to get my photos there but of course no such luck. So the next person that comes on that can post a picture (which is I think everyone but me) how do I get pictures from my desktop into photobucket?

That is the question of the day?

Good morn'. I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but here goes. I've never used photobucket specifically so with this advice your mileage may vary. Most photo hosting services do something like this: in your account there should be an 'uploading' (or maybe they call it 'posting') feature. You'd use this to copy your photos from your desktop computer to their server. It may take a while depending on the speed of your internet connection.

Open up two Interner Explorer windows. In one of 'em go to your photobucket account and pull up the picture you want to link to. In the address bar should be a long-ish URL. Copy (Ctrl-C) that.

In the other IE window do a new post on the DIS. Type what you want to, and paste (Ctrl-V) the URL in. You're not done yet. Highlight the URL (just pasted) and click the "insert image" button. That should add the

format.

Viola!

I have a photobucket account and couldn't figure out how to upload either!! I'll have to try on Sunday.

Busy weekend coming up Cheeky Chicks and gents! Homecoming/Alumni weekend~ We have a football game vs. Hudson Valley CC (From NY) coming here for a 1:00 p.m. game, plus the tailgating party & picnic will be down at my field... tons of people and cars for me to handle!!

It's supposed to rain, but will be around 60. Last year it snowed! Yea! at least homecoming is only once a year!

Our cool front we got yesterday is slowly going away. That's OK because I hate when it's cold for Halloween. I like to be able to see all the ghosts and goblins costumes.

Nothing worse than having to wear a big jacket over a costume! I've never lived where it was that cold in October. Even when I lived in the central valley (of CA) it wasn't that cold. It should be nice next week. So. . . do you have to dress up? We do at work, which I am not excited about. I bought a princess costume, and I have a tiara so I am just waiting on my tights. My dress is a bit short and I haven't worn tights in 100 years, so I ordered new ones. Now to just figure out the shoes. . .

That sounds like fun Susan. I don't dress up. I wear a Halloween shirt that's it. Remember that Princesses wear sparkly shoes.
