It does help if you repeat the "line". What was it again??? :teeth:

That the TF could NOT be a male... I will not believe that Boy George is the Tag Fairy.

I'll agree, it's rather unlikely that Boy George is the tag fairy.

Did you read Steph's pre-trip report? Too funny!

Are you working on yours?

How is football season?

Need anything from Iceland? oh, wait, too late. I cannot believe DH makes these extended business trips without a shopping list.

I'm about to post.

Joanne~ I found out we lost the football game 3-0.... in the last two minutes of the game!!!! UGGGHHH. The Head Coach said we attempted a field goal in the last two minutes, the NCC kicked a field goal in the last minute!!!

Morning all.

I have absolutely nothing to say. :confused3

Left my brain at home apparently.

Hey Chris. . . Where'd you go? Lights out. Not good.

Talking to myself here. I heard Ghostbusters on the radio this morning. I used to love that song. Now I appreciate it for it's value as a pop classic but it's awfully repetitive. My favorite line. . .

Bustin makes me feel good. . .

:teeth:

Hey there Susan. I'm in an '80s mood too. Right now I've got REM's "Life's Rich Pageant" playing ("Fall on Me" is on right now). Earlier today I was playing Def Leppard's "Pyromania" cd (the one with "Rock of Ages" & "Photograph") - how much more '80s can you get?

(I guess it could be more 80s - those dancin' bananas could have been Bananas in Pajamas - the popularity of whom I can't explain...)

So, Susan - who's the cyber-stalker (from a few pages back)?

I was singing along with Hungry Like the Wolf at WalMart yesterday. Although personally, I prefer Rio if someone NEEDS to play Duran Duran.

"Her name is Rio, and she dances on the sand."

Will that suffice for you to get you back to finishing up that trip report of yours?

Get back to work on the TR. Back to the salt mine, nose to the grindstone and all that.

Did I mention that I'd like to see another installment of your trip report?

Duran Duran - ahhhh. I find myself humming "The Chauffer" disturbingly often.

By the way, I'm a DVCer. If you've got any questions, holler! They just announced Animal Kingdom Villas - the next DVC resort (after Saratoga Springs - which is the current resort) to be built on the Animal Kingdom Lodge property - starting construction 2007 to be complete 2009.

How's it goin' Grimley?

We've got a plethora o' trip reports - There's Chris's wonderful one, and DisneyMommyMichelle's is good, too (at least what she had posted last week). I've not had a chance to do a lot of reading lately, so I haven't gotten a chance to read Steph's yet. I'm working on mine slowly & fitfully (I've written through Day #3), but I probably won't get around to finishing / posting it for a couple of weeks.

Between being blocked on here at work usually (I think Websense is merely being moved to a different server currently), a really crazy work schedule that's included quite a bit of travel lately, and finally getting my pilot's license (finally), it's good.

I'll just look forward to getting this upcoming NYC 2-week trip overwith. I think the work part of it won't be that hard, but it's been over a decade since I've lived in a city of any size (DC), and the whole subway/crowds/"so many distractions, so little time" thing might be a bit daunting for someone who will officially be in his late 30's in a few weeks. It looks like my b-day will happen while I'm up in NYC, which will probably stink, but it's not one of those "round number" birthdays, so I guess it's ok. I might treat myself to the Martin Short one-man show on Broadway. In case you can't tell by my screen name on here, I think he's hilarious. :rotfl: But if I pay $115 or whatever it costs for a ticket, and there's no Ed Grimley in the show, I'll ask for a refund. ;)

I read a review of Martin Short's show in Entertainment Weekly, I think. I don't know if Grimley makes an appearance in it.

My sister lived in NYC (Queens) for 2-3 years, 9/11 was scary for her (she worked in midtown). Too big a city for me, except to visit. I'm a small-town kind of guy. Maryville (where I live) is about 25,000 people - Knoxville (where I work) is about 300,000. Big enough for me. Happy birthday, a bit early.

This weekend sucked. My son (12) had his first school dance Friday night. He was complaining of a stomach ache but insisted he HAD to go to the dance. He was meeting a girl there, yadayadayada... I pick him up after the dance and on the way home he blew chunks all over the place - he rolled down the window but in hindsight it would have been better if he hadn't. We got home, I sent him inside to get cleaned up, and I tried to get the car cleaned up. Our driveway is very dark, and it was cold and drizzling. I didn't do a very good job cleaning up (but I didn't know it that night, thought I had gotten everything). He & I slept out in the living room Friday night - he with a garbage can & me to make sure he didn't need any help (luckily he only did IT that one time in the car).

Saturday came up and when it was light I went outside & noticed some places I had missed. KAMommy needed her car (her mom had thrown her back out Saturday morning and was on her way to the doctor), but I was still cleaning it up. She was impatient with me, in a hurry to be with her mom, and simply stated we did not have a good morning (to say the least). I worked all day at home - the kids hung out in jammies all day and watched DVDs. Adam & I slept in the living room again, because he didn't want to be alone in case he got sick again.

Yesterday we went down to KAMommy's parents' house to move furniture (which was what threw her mom's back out Saturday morning) and hang pictures (they repainted their living room / dining room late last week). Then back home to work some more (yippee).

Seriously, today at work seems like a vacation compared to the weekend.
