We have a stay booked at BLT Sept 29 to Oct 6 in a 2 bedroom. Our daughter and her family are coming with us. Due to health reasons DH and I cannot arrive until Oct 2 at the earliest. I'm certain they can check in without us on the 29th but what about when we arrive? Do they just get our keys at check in and carry on like we are there? What about the parking pass that goes in the car window? They may be flying or driving, haven't decided yet. We will be driving.

Anyone else ever had to do this? I would appreciate some insight and reassurance that they won't hit any snags.

If they are adults, they can check in. They can pick up your room keys or leave them for you at the Front Desk.

DME should be added to the reservation 30 days min prior to arrival.

They can get a parking pass if they need one.

If you are using the DDP, you will still have credits for the entire reservation.

Thank you.

My daughter's name is different from ours, will this be a problem getting past the guard gate?

No, if they are on the reservation, it should not be. They can just explain to the guard that they are checking in on your reservation.

Thanks! They are not yet on the reservation but will be. We just weren't sure how many of them would be coming.

This looks like I shouldn't have to worry. I tend to over-think things sometimes. :)

You can also go down to the front desk at anytime and have a parking pass printed. If you decide mid-trip to get a rental, no problems. Even if they don't pick up a parking pass for you, it won't be a problem to get one when you arrive.
