Checking in under an AP package

I just booked 2 rooms at the Poly under the AP rates that just came out (one room is for our family and the other for my parents, and the reservations are linked).

I will be the sole passholder, my parents will likely be checking in a couple of hours after us, and we'll likely be out at a park when they arrive.

As long as I show my pass at check-in, explain to the CM that my parents are checking in later, is there anything else I need to do so that my parents do not expericence any difficulty checking in (given that neither of them are passholders)?

We've never booked more than 1 room and have never had APs, but I don't think you will have any trouble, especially if you explain the situation to the CM when you check in. We are thinking of getting APs on our next trip and from what I understand, you have 24 hours to show a valid AP if you don't have one at check in. I would explain the situation when you check in and then tell your parents to explain it if they are asked. With that said, I wouldn't worry to much about it as I have read many posts that AP holders are often not even asked to show their AP. Good luck :).

Since the AP holder is checking in first, then there should not be an issue. If they were arriving before you, then there might have been a problem. Since the reservations linked in the system, you should be fine.
